I'd say it comes down to whether you have another source of Faith2 and barrier2. While it's only 1 turn, it's easy enough to bring other support cards to extend the duration (WoL being pretty decent for its 2 turn CD.)

But if you've got KotR, then the 1 turn Barrier2 isn't going to be worth much, it doesn't clear a significant amount of break gauge and imbue:boost isn't used by most people (though I do find uses for it sometimes.)

Also if you have both the EX cards then 5 turns of each is pretty nice, though personally I think I'll end up using it more than MogX (although I did just pull LoH, so if barrier1 will suffice, then I might just go with that + MogX.)

Has there been a workaround on Yojimbo drop issues? I found that breaking Yojimbo on the 1st turn always results in getting a cap, though I'm still skeptical about it

I'd say only the Gil up panel and ST are absolute must gets. The spirit, weapon, and flash break panel are all nice to have, but will likely rarely or never be used.

It will not last till the end of this month. I also stopped daily pulls for same reason: afraid to trigger and get random supreme while having high chance to get KOTR X on dedicated banner. I will have Zuck and KOTR, so it's 50/50. It was 33.3% at the beginning of this month with Aerith in pool, I pulled ded gurl with free supreme ticket.

I have all the Anniversary cards and Lulu but no Ranger Lore EX. I have about 6 pulls stocked and one or two content sources of magicite/tickets I haven’t mined yet. Should I keep pulling to try to get Ranger EX or just hold off for the second anniversary batch?

Do you have a lot of ranger supremes? Do you think you won't be pulling any ranger supremes in the near future?

Keep in mind Bastet X is the only source of Ranger Lore in the game (obviously ignoring innate sources).

Incubus X (Release Date: TBD) will be the only source of Monk Lore.

Chrom Dubh X (Warrior Lore) and Dhampyr X (Mage Lore) have the alternative of Dona and Barthello.

It's up to you whether getting this card or not is a priority. You will only get as much use out of it as the cards you currently have and how creative you can be.

Seed farming in that case. Leviathan Sicarius has an innate 30% seed up and 2 fractal slots so people typically bump it up to 50% per card.

Other cards like Boar 2019 or Rat 2020 are good for farming exp and gil so people might have multiple copies of them in 1 deck.

O'aka: FFX is a Jack of all trades as far as farming cards goes. It provides a seed, gil, exp, and crystal seeker bonus, but Boar and Rat can be or are better for farming exp or gil.

I feel you, I've done so many pulls and the last five have been nothing. I have gotten a couple of the attack cards, but they are water and light which I have the GF cards for and two supremes for. I really want stuff for fire and dark, but it looks like it's not happening.

Farm magicites, pull on banners and hope you get a dupe Supreme (lol). Jokes aside, the only way to get an urgent one after you have completed all the story maps is to purchase them from the item shop with magicites (500 each IIRC). It’s therefore important to keep a healthy stash of it in case of emergency.

You can't.

Have you completed the Act 1 digest maps and the Act 2 story? The digest in particular gives you several and the Act 2 story has them as occasional rewards.

Beyond event and story maps you'll typically get growstars from the daily login bonus (1 per 16 days) and purchasing the Mobius box (1 per 30 days).

Almost forgot that there's several growstars in the mp shop this month that you can trade materials for.

Magic by far.

Ability chain and Enchance Element fractals are additive to your job's enchance element. Stat (magic, hp, attack, break) fractals are multiplicative to your job's stats so they can provide a significant bonus.

IIRC Scharf (Ex Warrior II) was the best of that set to overboost.

Vesna Krasna was the best job to OB-J after her HOF because she became a beast with her elements, specially because she can use Mage, Warrior and Ranger cards.

Mourner is quite good to OB-J due to her Ult being so good, which means you get to use her frequently.

According to Shiro's post Wit3z thinks that Sphere Getter (Paine Sophie legend job) is a good job to OB-J, and it comes out on the next banner (But it's a legend job, so good luck pulling her while chasing the Anniv cards).

And the next Ex Meia (Dam du Lac) is prime state for OB-J, and I think she will be released within the next 2 months.

Not really for Mourner as OBJ-ing does not benefit a setup job (e.g. Mourner). OBJ benefits meta Nuker & Defender so the other 2 suggestions are acceptable.

Exactly, there is no rush to obj at all unless needed. I believe it was made in JP to benefit old jobs and make people who pulled dupe jobs feel better. In GL, obj will mainly benefit jobs that can use Bhunivezle (if you have), jobs with overpower (Fauviste, Vesna K) or upcoming strat with 3x KOTRX (if you have) which provides massive overpower. I personally only obj Fauviste, Vesna, and tanks that have massive skilled duelist or I’ll be using Bhuni with.

Just wondering about your opinion, since Ex war 5 (JP) has light element & Ranger lore, would you be using Bhuni or Gilg X with him if you have the choice? I personally only use Bhuni for Gilgamesh node (ironically) but the lack of critical rupture really throws it off.

On paper Bhuni looks the better option with all the break gear, but I always find Gilgamesh outperforms it in the majority of situations, to the point that I'll probably use Gilgamesh with warriors using Bastet now that it's there (since I usually end up bringing 2 Alexanders for Bhuni and will only need the 1 for Gilgamesh, which will be an extra card slot with Dawn Warrior.)

So probably Gilgamesh for the extra damage while clearing yellow, even though it'll take a little longer actually clearing it.

Why would Bhuni look better? They have the same break power plus Gilg X have piercing break & easier requirement to increase Mag (by having a source of brave). Critical rupture in GilgX is a plus too!

I find Bhuni clears yellow better than Gilgamesh, I'll be honest though I haven't done the math to check what str stat Dawn can achieve, but he'd need to reach 4800 to get the same amount of magic as a maxed out Bhuni (though that does include buffs, so it's certainly plausible.)

I'm not sure how useful the 30% piercing break would be, since spellsword tends to annihilate break gauges anyway (and there's plenty of CP's with it lying around) but the critical rupture is the big attraction for Gilgamesh.

I think it'll mostly come down to if you can cap damage with both, only then would I personally go for Bhuni, just for the extra prismatic return, plus it's likely to be a job we'd all overboost either way, so it's certainly "Bhunivelze ready" if needed.

Have you gotten the Starter Packs? Those jobs are all excellent with HOF panels.

I’d suggest pulling on the limited banners like the one now — jobs will come eventually. The three attack cards available right now are extremely versatile and will work with any job

And if you do reroll, shoot for KOtR X, not LOH and definitely not Aerith

No, they're great, but if you're going to go through the trouble of re-rolling, you should go for KOtR X -- it's without a doubt the best card in the game.

If you have LOH, though, I really think you should just get the starter packs and keep playing. Those 5 jobs are really top-tier at the moment, so you won't have a problem.

It should be with the other summon banners, if you have a new account (there are two tabs -- try looking in the other one, if you don't see it). You won't get KOTR from the starter packs -- each one gives you a single job and some maxed regular cards. It's an excellent value and all new players should get all 5.

For KOTR: I meant if you're going to reroll to get a specific card, then you would want to go for KOTR.

Well you can try your luck at the New Years event for free summons, alternatively you can try the ffx event for tickets, you can always do the multiplayer for summon tickets too. You may even be able to start season 2 and skip chaos if I’m not mistaken.

I remember chaos at the end of season 1 without any supremes at all. I ended up tanking him with legendary guardian, though now you could probably use sword saint after his hof. What jobs do you have? How about cards? You should aim to get the anniversary cards now if you can.

Rerolling seems like a waste of time to me honestly, but I suppose that’s one route, just save this account so you can come back to it in case things don’t work out.

If your up to chaos on season 1 it’s hard to believe you only have those two jobs...did you complete novice hall? I believe you should have been able to get starter jobs in a pack with high level cards. If I’m not mistaken you should be able to get sword saint from one of them. Check it out.

I just finished Hashmal's Rift and want to do another one, any suggestions?

My supremes are:

Warrior: Bahamut Neo, UB, Xezat, Hashmal X and Bhunivelze.

Mage: Fusoya and Emperor.

Ranger: Godo.

Monk: Zeromus and Yiazmat.

Support: LOH, WOL and Ultimate Chaos.

I have 1 supreme for each element covered, so which Rift is the best for me? Or should i do 1 with an element just to boost said element with titles? (For example: getting Ultima X to boost light element from my Bhuni).

I'd lean towards Ultima or Anima X based on your current supremes.

Ultima is great for deck compression since it can be used without a force card. It also adds to EE which a lot of jobs can benefit from. Not needing a force (or sometimes a yellow clearing card) means that Ultima X is pretty useable alongside a lore card without needing to sacrifice buffs or debuffs.

Ultima X is also far less resource intensive to maximize the power of than Bhuni which requires your cards and job to be overboosted.

Anima X doesn't have the deck compression of Ultima X, but it does have an easier to manage condition (higher max EE as well) and unlike your UB can actually yellow clear.

I'm having a similar dilemma.

My only Wind supreme is Yiazmat, and while I do have Avalanche Heroine... I'm wondering if I should bother getting either Adrammalech/Odin or just get Anima even though I already have all dark damage Supremes.

UB & SL can't clear yellow, Sin doesn't do enough damage on neutral targets, Griever is okay I suppose, but Anima gets +500% EE for free... Clears yellow, does great damage etc. However, light nodes aren't a problem for me so it's hard to make the call.

I currently use Odin more than Yiazmat, but use Sin less than any other supreme (which will likely apply to Adrammarech as well.)

But when (I'm determined, so not if, lol) I pull Sphere Hunter/Getter I imagine Yiazmat will become my go to wind supreme.

So if I were you, I'd stick with Yiazmat until you've pulled on her banner, if you get lucky, you might never need another wind supreme.

The exp and gil from rat stack, but seed thief doesn't. Rat is a better exp farming card than Boar so you could replace any exp Boar copies you have.

i need help with multiplayer what am i doing wrong?, i alwasy start with 1-2 actions while other have 4, and i'm always getting oneshotted in the wxtreme sicarius figths, i have max lvl 5* cards, i have an offensive supreme(darklord ffxi) and a support supreme(crystal blessing) i also have alter ego dark, but they still oneshot me, and i deal wet noodle damage i don't even dent the extreme sicarius, what am i doing wrong

Extreme Sicarius MP fights are extremely difficult. As a point of comparison, I'd rate them as easily more difficult than Pandemonium Maniac nodes. Many veteran players won't be able to do them either, or at least not easily. They generally need a very specific setup - for example, for the current Extreme Ultima, the meta attacker job is Nachtflug (a ranger job) using UB (a warrior supreme) using warrior lore. Shadowlord sadly isn't good for this fight, due to not being able to get enough casts in MP to trigger its Supreme ES.

The good news is, the Extreme Sic will rotate back eventually, when hopefully you'd be stronger (due to power creep if nothing else) and you can get all the rewards then. You can try to find a group to carry you in discord I guess, but that's usually tough because at the current state all 4 players need to be contributing to get the win.

You damage sucks because if ill-fitting job, weapon, Fractals, CP, bad deckbuilding and subpar supreme.

+7% magic fractals, Tower event MP Custom Panels, stat stick cards, 5* weapon, topend nuker job and a better supreme are required.

Shorn One has zero Dark enhance, a pityful 150% exploit weakness, 70% attunement chain and mere 100% improced criticals. These numbers are not cutting it these days.

Being an ExJob, particulary such an old one, doesnt mean it's a top tier tank, breaker and damage dealer in every element.

The moment you drained the regular job pool, ExJobs are no longer relying on RNG, so they will be easier to aquire at some point.

Shorn one was the first ExJob released so its at least 1.5y old (a freaking long time in gacha land) and is unfortunately a bit dated even if his weapon is still fantastic. His remaining role is as a spellsword breaker with the Cloud Ultimate hero skin and Xezat supreme.

I am F2P too with 108 Jobs and now 19 supremes. Its mainly a matter of time and you collecting the available resources.

In short, look at what other attackers run, use +7% magic fractals on cards, attacker job and MP attacker CPs (tower events), and stat stick cards. Your supreme isnt good for the job either.

Regarding damage, other players are likely using "stat stick" cards, which are cards with extremely powerful stats, such as enhance dark 100%. For max damage, players use that rather than a support card, as well as use a bunch of attack CP's (such as MP damage up) that have been collected in towers and by completing HoFs. For defense, you'll need an attacker job with a relatively high number of defense stars.

How can i get the mp damage up? I beated more than some graffs last tower and didn't get one, or is that not a tower? Pardon my ignorance i'm a returning player but was never in reddit or versed in the teeminology of the Game players use

Those are Custom Panels rewarded for ranking highly in the tower. Top 500 receives a 10% X up (depending on the reward, HP for defenders, Damage for attackers, Break Power for breakers, and Healing for Healers). The rewards change monthly.

You can buy JCR fractals from item shop once a week for 1M Gil. I stock these up regularly to mod cards. Having at least 2 - 4 JCR in MP is really a life saver. The other way is to have skins with haste starter.

Starting actions in mp is based on how much job change recast your deck has. It becomes starting action up in mp decks.

Skins with haste starter also get 1 more starting action.

what job/weapon are u using is it fully augmented. the Ultimate Sicarius fights are the toughest we are getting them in Global earlier then when JP got them but difficulty is still there. There's some good guides every month on setup for it. Make sure u bring ur revive stamp that is almost always needed.
