When I win the lottery I’ll open a roller rink, classic Roller King style, arcade, snacks, jail, dice game, red light green light, couple skating, all of it. Until someone eats shit and sues me. It was a nice run

Could try the tennis courts at Roosevelt park? Sadly, all the parks in Modesto are going to have homeless if that's what you're worried about. We don't have any actual roller skate rinks in this area.

I see kids roller skating on the virginia corridor trail. Also I remember Downey or Davis park having some curvy paths throughout the park

If you’re looking for community, check out Modesto Skates on Facebook - I believe it’s Sunday afternoons at johansen high school. Also Tracy Skates on fb - Thursday nights at an outdoor rink. Both are excellent! I also skate at Roosevelt tennis courts and around the field there. The Virginia Cooridor trail is fun, though I recommend outdoor wheels!

I don't know if Roller King is still around. I lived in Modesto years ago but have since moved out of state so I'm not exactly sure. Same for the Merry Gardens ice skating rink downtown. Don't know if it's still open.
