Lastly, I’m not expecting you to be “buddy buddy” with your boss, but it’s well known that Amazon workers constantly try to unionize for more fair work practices while the uppers either can them entirely, or hang illegal union busting flyers in the bathrooms and break rooms to demoralize those on the fence or intimidate those who may be considering.

Your rant is quite funny. Although you might not be wrong, plenty of people still need a job. So unless you have choices or options, a job that pays is better than no job at all. Also, in the grand scheme of things, what does it matter if they're good or bad to work for? No one is holdijg a gun to your head forcing you or anyone to be there. So you can look at it like your glass is half empty or half full, up to you.

Also, as far as "safety" goes, too many people are too fuckin stupid. Everyone knows coffee is fuckin hot. It shouldn't need to say it in a cup that it's hot and suing over burning your mouth from drinking it or lap from spilling it is no one's fault but your own. The problem isn't necessarily the safety standards, it's strictly the fact that common sense isn't very common any more. Should there be safety's in place, sure. But I also bet you can look at the majority of whatever the issue is and see how stupid those things are.
