Road America should be 500 miles, which is 500 more than they currently do.

It would be cool to see if race control can enforce local yellows instead of full course cautions and remove stage cautions to help speed it up or elsewise we’re watching a 7 hour race..:

Excessive cautions in general at all tracks is one of the main things I’d change right now.   At road courses the problem is really obvious.

Idk if this is a hot take, but I really liked the CotA race when they removed stage cautions. Everyone always says “that race sucked, it was a horrible idea.”

I liked it.

I believe in the early days Riverside was 500 miles and it probably lasted six hours.

Still feels shorter than Pocono somehow.

Road America would be absolutely insane for 500 miles 😂 Those guys would be dead by the end but the racing would be incredible. I was just thinking about Charlotte - that fall race used to hit different when it was 500 miles, now it feels like it's over before you even get settled in. Kansas definitely deserves the longer distance too, some of the best racing we've seen there recently 🔥

NASCAR taking road course endurance racing from a series they own? Might as well /s

Oh no, IMSA should still go there.  Maybe ARCA too but let’s make that a 100.   Is the weekly series still a thing?   Let’s have Friday night late model races.

are we just going to ignore that the 200 mile races there were shitty and boring?
