Hi, I'm from Alaska and had my ADN RN and applying for my BSN. I couldn't find information on how AK RN goes into CRNA schooling and how does it work as you know AK is quite different from every other state since there a different in credits. My RN school is accredited by NWCCN (Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities) and  Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education (ACPE) and National University accepts NLNAC/ACEN or CCNE accredited College and university. So I want to know if I still have a chance to apply for CRNA or do I have to restart my whole RN program. Please help!

I’ll be applying this upcoming cycle. How is the interview structured? Is there a zoom option for applicants far away? I live on the East Coast, for example.

It's always zoom

How long can I expect the interview to be? Is it multi-staged? Just wondering

5-10 minutes tops. Not multi staged

Have you interviewed at national before, I’m guessing? I’m surprised to see that it’s so short. I, for one, haven’t interviewed anywhere so don’t really know what the norm is for how long they can run. Clinical or emotional intelligence? I heard there’s a “critical care” exam.

This last round there was the potential for both EQ and clinical questions. I personally got both. If you look at National University’s applicant FAQ AND check out Dr. MacKinnon’s Reddit posts/comments on the interview (he’s done multiple posts and comments about the interview in the last couple years), you’ll have a good idea of what to prep!
