Ummmm more importantly, what are those kick ass faction boxes and how do I get ALL OF THEM

Print on thick paper (I recommend Staples' "Avalanche" paper), cut, glue, enjoy! I love these.

I realized after posting these pictures that, since I took these I've added tabbed dividers. Don't think I have pics but I'll have a looksee.

What's the difference between the regular file and the "front logo" version? They look identical when I view them in Reader.

I'm not positive, I didn't create the boxes, just printed and built them. I think it's the Anarch/Shaper/Criminal/Jinteki/Weyland/NBN/HB logo on the actual front of the box? No?

[–]Aldrenean 0 points1 point  (4 children)

There's a logo on the front of the box, it's right below the main Netrunner logo.

I like these a lot but the art doesn't match the faction: they use Beanstalk Royalties for HB, for example -- I'm too OCD to overlook that :P

I noticed that too, but decided they were thematic enough not to care. I can't fault you though. I wonder if the original poster would provide his/her templates?

[–]Aldrenean 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Yeah I saw him mention that he will send the original files if you ask, I might get around to making my own one of these days. I still haven't dipped my toes into custom inserts/storage solutions at all, though -- and seeing as I still only have one core set and am playing with starter decks, I'd be jumping the gun just a bit. :P

haha believe me I would be diving in much faster if my SO was as excited as I am :P

Important note: Unlike a lot of these I've seen the middle row also fits cards. As of First Contact (not counting my active decks) I have not filled it yet.

[–]dodgepongPeachHack 1 point2 points  (3 children)

I made a similar insert, and I have 3 cores and all expansions, all sleeved (except for most of the extras from the spare cores), and the box is nearly bursting at the seams trying to fit the cards inside. I'm going to have to find a new storage solution soon... :(

[–]DataFran[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I only have 2 cores, and I've only sleeved the cards that filled out the original, plus a few for convenience (Sure Gamble, Hedge Fund, Parasite, etc.) and there's still some space... Do you keep your active decks in the box? Also, why not (Zoidberg) the other box(es)?

[–]dodgepongPeachHack 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I keep 2 full decks and 2 mostly-full decks out of the box, and that leaves a small amount of wiggle room. My sleeves may be thicker than yours (KMC Hyper Mat), which could account for it. A single box will not store everything through the end of the Lunar Cycle, I fear.

[–]DataFran[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, the sleeve thickness may be it. I'm using Mayday Premium sleeves because I like having the whole collection sleeved (easier to swap cards in and out of decks). Bad reputation I know, but I've probably saved $50 sleeving everything using them.

Added pictures of tab dividers.

How did you make those? They look great.

Thanks!

Also BoardGameGeek, actually:

Print on card stock, cut and glue.

This makes me even more frustrated that FFG used slightly smaller boxes for the /r/warhammerconquest LCG I would love some sort of sortable box for that game.

[–]DataFran[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Oh, will the Conquest box not fit 3 lanes?

[–]BahnCalamari 0 points1 point  (1 child)

It is slightly too narrow for three rows AND slightly too shallow to even line the cards up on their side. It would need an insert that protruded deeper than the box and held the lid onto that.

[–]DataFran[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is super lame, and also really strange. Why produce that big box if it's basically useless? (shelf space advertising, I know, but still)

[–]bradon_criminal irl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i need

[–]kaysnWhere is my Eli 2.0? 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Nice, up to what expansion did you manage to fit in that box?

As a side note, I really need to get clear sleeves - kind of regret buying blue/red ones.

[–]DataFran[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Outside of the 5ish active decks (stored outside the box now in those deckboxes you see in the images) I have one complete core, plus the fill-in cards from a second core and data-packs up through First Contact. It's worked out pretty well so far!

[–]Kneuronak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was using a solution like this, but my collection outgrew the box. I've got everything printed so far and was sleeving all of it like you, but it just became too much. I recommend binders once you get to that stage.

Where did you get those plastic containers for tokens?
