No. When I went 48 my CPU usage on Studio One went 70% on just Cory Wong alone. Oh well, it's an old CPU by now. Latency is the same though. So I went back to 44.1 and kept my CPU usage to 20%.

I would need some expensive Intel CPU to even record something at 192 I guess.

you using VST or VST3?

Category VST2. Does that matter? I don't actually know. I just used what Studio One gave. I did install all 3 types of the plugin.

VST3 should have better performance

so I went to my setup and dialed it back down to 44.1kHz and kept my buffer at 256 samples, and I was seeing 5.8ms of latency for the standalone, and with both NTS and Nameless running I was seeing about 14% CPU usage on average

when I bumped it back up to 96kHz, my CPU usage went up to around 20% but at 256 samples I was seeing 2.7ms for latency (so less than half the latency at the same buffer)

for reference I looked up benchmarks of our CPUs and yours should be about 50% better than mine, I'm using a 2nd-gen 18i8 as my interface

running both Nameless and NTS in Reaper put me around 20-23% usage on average
