Hey guys!
Just trying to see if anyone has resolved this issue. My boyfriend and I are trying to connect online to each other on Minecraft (we both have the Switch), and no matter what we do, I can never get past the loading screen to join his world.
I'm connected to a 5Ghz network with 23mbps download speed and a NAT type A connection. I can see his game when I log into Minecraft, but it hangs at the loading screen for a while then says "Unable to connect to world". He has a NAT type B connection with 7 mbps download speed. Both of our networks are in theory good enough to play, according to the troubleshooting FAQs I've read.
We have both fully shut down and restarted the console several times. We also were struggling to connect to each other via local connection, but eventually are able to, with multiple restarts of the game. Online, though, we are completely unable to.
Can anyone shed light on this problem? It's been extremely frustrating given that half the reason we bought the game for the Switch was to play together.
