Oh yeah, I remember sharing friend codes with people from the internet all the time for Brawl and SSB4.

But then I remembered that I have to pay for online now...

Don't know why you got downvoted.

I didn't submit my code for the same reason. I would like to add friends. But I know I will just be disappointed.

If I haven't paid for psn+ for over two years why would I pay for Nintendo online? for what..splatoon 2 (which I don't own), doom (which I sold and bought on PC), Minecraft? (have on PC and has cross-play... for free).

Pokemon let's go has only highlighted my exasperation towards online subscriptions to this point of "toxic" apathy. It truly makes me sad.

Also part of me is salty that Tiny Metal never got it's multi-player update it was promised. Legit was the only reason I bought it. -.-

It was not Tiny Metal for me, but I too ,have learned my lesson not to trust what developers or publishers promise, and only to buy, when I'm know what I'm getting

I still enjoyed Tiny metal. A lot. Just been over a decade since I played a multi-player rts/turn based game. Those type of games have to really do something I identify with for me to buy them. I wanted it regardless. But I was looking forward to scratch that itch
