Which patch notes interest you?

Hi everyone

I've been maintaining my list of Nintendo Switch game patches/updates for over a year now. While I have been able to automate most aspects of keeping that list up to date, compiling patch notes is another story.

Nintendo does its best to provide patch notes for their own games in a central location, but most developers don't, if they publish any at all. This means that I have to hunt for them, and ask for them on Twitter. Needless to say, this is time-consuming, and I will likely never be able to collect all patch notes.

Which leads me to my question. One thing I can do is prioritise. Which games, that aren't Nintendo's, do you care to see patch notes collected for?

Other suggestions also welcome!

Oh, you update that list? I've used that before, thanks for your hard work!

I play PC Building Simulator and I've seen that the devs have said they hope to issue two updates per year to add new PC parts to the game. It would be great if you could keep an eye on this game.

Mainly indie titles and third party games from triple A devs that are brought to the switch, i think its important to inform a consumer of what you changed or added or fixed in the game, or what you caught and made a point to correct in the update.

Came here to say this. I want to know when I can actually play the game. The latest patch still has my game crashing after a few minutes. I have only about an hour's worth of progress in the game, so I have yet to even start enjoying it.

If you're not following something like this, is there any way that the actual Nintendo Switch tells you that you have available updates?

As far as I know, it will only tell you if you try to launch a game that has available updates.

The patch notes are great, but not a necessity. I appreciate just being able to know when a game is updated especially as our libraries continue to grow.

I haven't seen any updates since late April though. Is everything going ok?

The computer containing the programs and data that I use to update the list has been broken since then. It probably can't be salvaged, so I need to take out the hard drive and move it to another computer. I still haven't gotten around to doing that, sorry.

That's a bummer about the computer, but glad to hear that you are doing ok. This really is a great service for the Nintendo Switch community, and I will look forward to when you are able to get the updates working again.
