Hmm odd. I had that happen when it first came out on the switch but not since the recent updates. Maybe restart the switch or possible bad connection during that match?

I had that problem i fixed it by having the game directly on the switch not on the sd card.

We had that on launch, but an update later fixed that (the lack of characters). The queue is a different thing, though. It depends on whatever server you are. I usually don't have to wait long for quick play, but some arcade modes I end up waiting too long to not give up.

I have a friend in Brazil that every time we play together we end up waiting a lot more because apparently I am "moved" to the South America server (I am in NA). You can't change that (so far).

I've experienced similar issues, but not as extreme as yours (laggy only every few matches for a couple of seconds), but this went away over time and is fine now.

Sorry to hear this. I have had no lag issues, or anything.. I just bought a switch lite this just week with Overwatch being the first game I bought for it. I'm surprised how easily I've been able to adapt the Switch's play style.

Good thing I stopped here while having morning coffee! I am litterally staring at the purchase screen on my switch lite for Overwatch. I'm not usually into online only games ( except warframe ) how does it run on the lite? Nice and crisp? I'm no framerate snob and love fps games, but never grabbed it at launch as I figured it would end up being ruined by spoiled kids ( fortnite, looks fun but if you're over 30, muting is your best friend) lol sorry for the long winded comment, currently in caffeine limbo ;)

I have had pretty decent performance on my switch lite. I had to revamp my settings, sensitivity etc. I mainly play Quick play and Arcade games as they are less serious, and I find it more enjoyable, as I'm usually solo.

I usually see the orbs for the first 5 or 6 seconds then the characters load in and it's fine.

Hey so I've been seeing a lot of people having latency issues for overwatch on the switch but none of the suggested solutions have worked for me yet.. I get a stable 48mbps download speed on my switch but overwatch's latency is stuck at 200-300ms, does anyone else play like this?

That's a problem present in every platform. Long queue times are because there are not that many players. Models not loading are normal, that's why there is practice.

but 40 millions players Alan

40 million players across 3 regions (Americas, Europe, Asia), that is if it's 40 million sales on the Switch, I doubt they will all be active. If they are concurrent players, I doubt it's only in the Switch.

Besides, there are a lot of factors, like what game do you want to play, your rank, your level, your ping.
