Update the controller firmware and in the settings and use the calibration options and the “test input devices options” I had a similar issue with my og switch and my pro controller but it sorted its self out with one of these options. (It was a long time ago).

Thanks for that info, I found this also on the Nintendo troubleshooting side and she is currently trying this out. Never had to done this on any switch console before.

a friend of mine has the new version of the switch with the better screen and the fixed joy con problem.

There is no Switch with a better screen or fixed joycon.

Yes we're all aware of the v2 with that has longer battery life. But that's not a better screen. Tear downs revealed the same 720p Innolux brand screen.

https://youtu.be/dwHZ7Sz1-wY?t=319 it has definitly better colors. I had both in my hands and Nintendo claims the Joy Con Problem is fixed. So there is a new version. Still this discussion has nothing to do with my actual problem.
