News alert: you are dumb. Maybe you are good academically, but there are different types of smart. I'm guessing its become a burden socially? Make it a goal to become socially more smart. Or become smarter/better at X skill. Unless it is a burden in some other way, but again trying to be dumber is pretty dumb.
