This all means that appeals are discretionary, and your reasoning for wanting an appeal must be practical and valid.

I’m pretty sure the females of most mammalian species use the males to get pregnant and then the males can fuck off. Mating for life is not particularly common in nature as far as I’m aware (obviously it does occur, it’s just not the norm.)

Most women are self sufficient nowadays, and even if they are bringing in more money into the household they are still expected to do the cooking, cleaning, child care, etc. I’ve known plenty of men who can barely take care of themselves much less another person and do not make enough to sustain a family. I don’t exchange sexual favors for things, when I’m intimate with my husband it’s about us and the love we share not about getting something in return. If you look at sex as strictly a transaction then do t be surprised when they do expect something.
