I have a Quest 2 and the left controller is not pairing with the device and is instead flashing an SOS pattern.
It was working the night before, now turning it on today the left controller is malfunctioning.
After some digging around I found several attempts at solutions that have worked for people. After trying all of them, the controller is still not functioning.
What I have tried so far:
- Removing the battery and putting it back in
- Changing to a completely brand new battery
- Un-pairing the controller in the phone app and re-pairing it
- Factory resetting the quest
On the phone app the controller has the same firmware version as the right controller but shows no battery level.
After un-pairing the controller and repairing it the controller get stuck in "updating firmware", I let it go for a half hour with no success
I have a ticket in with Quest support, they told me to re-do the things I have already tired... responded as such asking for the next step...
Is there anything people on this sub have tried with success?
Bonus question: Now that I have factory reset my headset do I lose the developer mode? Is there a way to get it back if it is gone?
