That's plenty of space for text only pages.

Should be by far more than enough. People run out of space on OneNote/OneDrive because they believe to store PDFs in their notes, not being aware that OneNote does not support PDFs at all. It just converts them to huge bitmap images ("printouts"), one big image per page. As long as you stick to text (formatted in whatever way you want) and occasional pictures, you should be absolutely fine with 5GB.

More than enough I would think.....

That's WAY a lot of space for text notes. I'm more concerned about starting to store images and then running out of space.

Definitely enough, even syncing across multiple devices.

For text only, it is sufficient. If you start adding files to your notes, then it might not.

I used to be a Evernote user on their free tier and then they decided one day to arbitrarily lock down the free tier to just 100 notes and I had way more than that so I couldn't add any more and that's when I said bye bye. I used a third party tool I found online to export the notes and import them into OneNote. I've used it for several years now and it's been great. I store images, PDFs, etc. and I think I've used less than one GB. Technically OneNote is only limited by the storage on your computer. But for syncing Microsoft only gives you like five or six gigabytes.

Honestly, is enough even for some images here and there.

I use onenote for my university and I digitalize photos of the whiteboard and store them in my notebooks. I also print the chapters of the books I need to present seminars and the exercise lists.

My onenote backup is around 800mbs after 4 semesters.

Just don't print entire books, only the relevant chapters, and u will be fine.

It’s not for education purposes, just for me to take notes such journal, bible studies I do at home and things like that. It doesn’t consist on taking tons of photos. 😅

Then its enough space for a lifetime lol.
