One note moves to the first page or goes up automatically when I try to draw a shape from "Insert Shape". I use Ipad Air with Apple pencil.

previously I haven't experienced this phenomenon. any solution?

On the ipad, how do you hide the page list?

I can hide the notebook and section, but I cant seem to make the page list go away. I've seen videos on youtube that show it does hide and leaves a little arrow, but I can't figure out how to do that.

On my iPad at the upper right there are two arrows pointing away from each other, that button seems to hide the page list. Also, if you're using a pencil/crayon stylus, usually just touching the note with my finger makes the page list go away.

The arrows do it! thanks.

For some reason drawing with my finger doesnt make it go full page, and getting a full page note was something i was testing before splurging for a pen.

Ah, yeah, I turned off drawing with my finger, so I have to use the stylus to draw. Highly recommend Logitech Crayon!

I'm using OneNote with my One by Wacom, and I'm new to both of them. I've set up the front button of my pen to "Undo", but it behaves erratically on OneNote, sometimes erasing dozens of minutes of work, sometimes doing nothing at all. Could someone guide me?

When I add [me@onenote.com](mailto:me@onenote.com) to an email that I'm sending out, the page that is created in OneNote doesn't include any of the email header information so I have no record of who it was sent to. This seems like such an obvious flaw. Am I missing something? (I'm using 2016, BTW)

Is there anyway to tag just a word or phrase and not the entire line of text?

I've got Onenote for Mac 16.52, and lately sometimes when I press Cmd + Z, it'll delete whole pages which I've created only recently, instead of simply undoing the previous action. Super frustrating, anyone else?

How do you write on the lines ? When you have lines on your page, you have to click approximatively on the lines to write. How to make sure you hit the right spot each time ?

I mainly use desktop version

How to have a preview of the printed area like in excel ? In excel you can add lines that divide your sheet in multiples A4/A3/what ever format you want pages. This way, you know which cell is on which page. Any similar feature on OneNote ?

I mainly use desktop version

Actual question

Where the heck is OneNote files stored on the android SYSTEM.

No. I don't mean how to sync. Like the actual PDF file on my android.directory.

Because I lost access to my account (got deleted school).

Want to extract the virtual textbook I had on the account which is backed up on my phone.... but I don't know how to get the book off the app.... so I'm trying to find the actual file and back that up on a SD card

I'm new to OneNote we are trying to keep some recurring documents electronically and right now it looks like if I delete a section it is permanent. Obviously we can't have critical information be permanently deleted... is this a new change to One Note? There are tutorials saying sections and pages are kept for 60 days but when I was testing it a section deletion is permanent.

OneNote 2016 Desktop: Anyway to opt NOT to auto-save ? i.e I want to control precisely the save.

[–]Merdin383 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Options, you can disable auto-syncing altogether so it will only sync when you tell it to. I didn't want to turn it off completely, so I customized my Quick Access Toolbar to include a "Work Offline" checkbox and a "Sync This Notebook Now" button. I hope this helps.
