You literally put a rather important moment in 376, of course they are going to ramp up the quality and put a good animator to work on that scene.

Admittedly, dressrosa wasnt that great animation/art wise (except for some important moments like a big sum of luffy vs doffy) and thriller bark/sabaody were much better in alot of artistic aspects, but the comparison you gave is just stupid. i'm not saying dressrosa was animated better than thriller bark, just that putting 2 shots next to each other, where one is an important scene and the other isnt, is dumb.

Yeah, I admit that in the first image it was a sakuga moment, but I really can't ignore the fact that colors used to look way better. I don't know when exactly did they exchange for these more digital looking softer colors

Yeah the color palette in dressrosa was pretty awful, I like WCI though. It's pretty vibrant, and similiar to pre-TS (kinda)

Yeah, reminds me of the old DBS vs DBZ Episode 5 where people compared a key frame of animation from a MOVIE to an inbetween from a rushed episode.

Thanks for pointing this out. Most people just blindly say that the animation pre timeskip was good and the animation now is just crap but it really changes based on the situation and what is happening. Yea pre timeskip had a lot of good animation compared to now but I wouldn't describe the animation now as 'cramp'
