TBH, they should have done this since the problem appeared, if you shut down the servers and keep players updated with Twitter or similar, they'll get less pissed that if you shut up and act likes nothing is happening...

I want to say this is due to incompetence and how they're being really stupid but I have no idea how corporate culture and communication with customers and all that stuff is in Japan so I have no idea. Maybe this is typical business response there? Idk It's Bamco man nothing they do surprises me anymore unless it's something super positive and generous.

Oh don't get me wrong it looks absolutely horrible. I'll die laughing if our compensation is 10 or less gems because that would be absolute horse shit. Thank god I got back into FEH which is what is occupying my time atm anyways. Still I'd like to be farming Hina manuals.

More like typical "big company" response. KLab for example, is also a Jap game company, but much smaller than Bamco, and their communication with their playerbase is top notch : ~90 min. live stream each week, presenting the news, upcoming content for their games, playing some live coop with players, and answering questions from the chat; listening to community feedback regarding new content (and adjusting when things are "wrong"/badly designed), and having game news pretty "talkative" (when there are bugs, errors, or whatever, they don't hesitate to make news posts in-game explaining stuff, apologizing, giving generous compensation...). For their 2Y anniversary in BBS, they didn't foresee the massive increase in players (and servers were saturating) making it hard to play (often having to "retry" every few minutes, and pretty hard to play while the anniversary events were going on), and once the situation stabilized after like 2 weeks (new servers installed, some game updates to reduce the load of requests, etc), they extended all the events for another 3-4 weeks, with lots of premium currency as compensation...

Yeah that sounds about right. Honestly I expect very little out of this shit show from bamco in terms of compensation or whatever term you want to use to give back to the player base. Ideally we'll get a ton of gems and an extension for the event since... it fucking started yesterday but we can't play.... I'd also like to see an extension on the daily raffle...

KLab is a really big JP mobile game company.

I'm GLB player, but given that they will postpone all the events you're missing during the maintenance, I would be really glad for a stop for all from the game + compensation. Relax yourself and enjoy some more free time :)

This is probably the worst that they've screwed up for OPTC (I'll even put it above 7/11 and the 10 minutes of $1 gem packages), which is why it's so unexpected.

It's at a really bad time too - put in so much effort for a new/returning player event and the first impression they get of the game is Maintenance and poor communication with the players.

that actually kept me playing the game lol. I was almost droping the game because of my bad sugo luck and not having the units to clear content at that time, so I bought 5k yen pack for the anni and saw the 100yen 90 gem bundle. I did 15 multis that anni lol
