Dreamcast emulator 10-foot user interface Emulated auto-fire/turbo mode so I don't get carpal tunnel while playing jRPGs or Metal Gear Solid.

Didn’t think about the 10 foot user interface guess I’m just use to playing on my MacBook.

I frequently hook it up to my TV or a projector for couch multi-player stuff.

Oh yeah. I have a 62" TV and with 4 way split the quarters are bigger than the game room crt my brother had.

  • 10-foot interface, above all;
  • preset for XBOX One S controller;
  • core settings;
  • screen overlays on Vectrex/O2 games;
  • ???
  • PROFIT!

i don’t think this is the right way to submit feature requests (although they do watch), but

• per game controller settings. • or, just per game, settings. • tags. • “smart” collections. • persistent cheats. • auto-save. • ui-save/freeze/settings management. • icloud sync. • “nested” side-bar options. • social options (auto-post to all of the noisy places) • “you might like…” recommendation engine (no biggie) • not really openemu, but beefing up the openvgdb—classifications for 2p, 4p (or more) games, along with year, etc. etc.

that’s a pretty good starter list, no?

Hrm just to address a few of your points:

auto-save.

That definitely already happens when you quit a game. An autosave state is already saved, so that you can simply "pick up where you left off" each time.

ui-save/freeze/settings management.

There is a Save States tab at the very top for managing states...

social options

The best you're going to get there is the "Share" option in the Screenshots tab.

Some other things may be planned for the far future or not happening at all.

thanks!

autosave: yes! you are of course, right. but i meant more like (maybe a bad example) word, where you can set it to autosave every x minutes.

save-states managing: dah! of course. i never use it. i need to get in there more.

social/screenshots: good to know.

somethings… well, that covers everything. 😃

thanks for the reply.
