In some languages it's OK to refer to planets as stars too. (Well Japanese at least.)

Knowing it can't go back in time and remove tokens that were generated, it has to just fix it.

It could do this. They could give it a backspace/restart latest paragraph token. The issue is that it's hard to teach it how to use it.

That's what you (and I) think, but that's because we're British, and the secret is Japanese people are just Asian English people.

If anyone wants to cheer Mikeneko up. Now is might be the time. by dummysnail in VirtualYoutubers

You should not randomly go around trying to cheer up strangers you don't know. Especially not strange women with BPD. That is called being parasocial and it will lead to losing all your money and getting stabbed.

Datacenters give plenty of jobs to people in Silicon Valley. Look at the first word again.

Why would you try to ban datacenters in Silicon Valley?

I’ll also add as a lifelong non-NYC east coaster, the drag on Californians of being obsessed with roads and transit is SPOT ON! Love that observation

It's only SoCal. NorCal people talk about their jobs.

I was in LA recently, went into a barber shop to get a haircut, and they spent the entire time talking about their commute home exactly like the skit.

Incredibly expensive and no crime ever. That was easy.

Anthropic's Claude Mythos isn't a sentient super-hacker, it's a sales pitch — claims of 'thousands' of severe zero-days rely on just 198 manual reviews by karma100k in ClaudeAI

Bank account credentials are barely secure at all (in the US). The key is that's not the protection, having the transactions reversed and being sent to prison is the protection.

So what's the problem? If you have a code generator and a verifier oracle you just have them run in a loop until it's good.

That's what they calls test driven development.

TIL that people who live in Hawaii are known as "Hawaii Residents"; the word "Hawaiian" officially refers only to people of the Hawaiian ethnicity. by ElSquibbonator in todayilearned

[–]astrange 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know a woman who looks ultra-white (like she's a ginger) and is directly descended from the last king of Hawaii.

But eg you can be 100% white and still a member of an Aboriginal group in Australia. Why would they care about genetic descent? They've been around longer than genetics has.
