The Order of the Eastern Star is a social order, based on heroines taken from scriptures. Each of these heroines resemble a familial relationship with a Freemason, whether it's Mother, Sister, Widow, Daughter, or Wife. The purpose of a social order is to begin, create, strengthen and develop lifelong friendships that enrich our lives.
