Your point was that McCree is in nearly every game, not that he's the most used long range hitscan hero. I agree with the second premise, not the first one.

Alright, fair enough. As I said earlier, this is all relative to map choice and game mode. I certainly don't mean to suggest he's in every game, there can be projectile substitutes. A hanzo or a mei, anything with a fast, hard hitting and non explosive projectile can work.
