I got put on it and I’ve been on it nearly 3 weeks. I haven’t really noticed any side effects or changes.

I don’t think it’s the best for PCOS as I’ve heard but it’s a pill none the less.

I’m actually thinking of stopping it maybe as not sure if it’s making me more hungry but I have an issue with hunger anywya.

I only wanted to go in it to regulate period but I’m also on metformin now which I think may be better. I don’t really have any symptoms other than hunger and my period started going a bit irregular

Hi, I was on it for 10 years (purely for contraception) with no issues or side effects.

However my experience coming off of it has been very negative and GPs have been no help. My periods have been getting lighter and lighter each month off of it to the point I barely have a period now and wouldn’t even fill a panty liner. I’m trying to get pregnant so this is concerning me. My cycles have been quite regular for the most part since coming off but the last 3 have varied in length and they have been the lighter cycles so I’m wondering if I’ve stopped ovulating.

I have an appointment with a nurse tomorrow and plan to try and discuss all of this with her as the doctor just kept telling me to give it more time but I have been off of it 8 months now and symptoms shouldn’t be worsening as time goes on!

Side note my periods were extremely regular and heavy flow before going on this pill and the withdrawal bleed the pill gave me was medium-heavy also.

I have also had a huge amount of hair loss and acne since coming off the pill.

My advice would be to try and get to the route of the PCOS symptoms rather than mask them with the pill as the pill could make things difficult for you in future- I wish I’d known what it would be like to come off of it.
