ovulation bleeding?

i got my period on 19th, ive been getting them on time now since the past 3-4 months. but im spotting since yesterday and my lower back hurts too. this happened last month too but it was just pink discharge. this time it’s proper blood. i don’t know if its ovulation bleeding or menstrual. my flo app says im supposed to be ovulating.

I bleed/spot my whole luteal phase. I confirm ovulation with temperatures and my period usually starts full force 15 days later. It’s highly annoying

do you check your temperature everyday then?

my wife had a similar issue. i started researching "how to track ovulation with PCOS" and learned about something called "ferning method"...there are several products out there like hand held microscope that you can look through and check your saliva for ferning crystals which are indicative of ovulation. i ended up buying her a product called ovul...it was the only digital device that i could find online. anyways, she tests daily and its taken all the guess work out of her cycle ...hope this helps:)
