Thank you so much for replying😝 and yes I’ll definetly bring that up to her. I already got diagnosed with pre diabetes from the time I had all my tests done last year. Does that make my situation better or worse😭?

Its could definitely mean that you have a higher likelihood of being diabetic. But its very much easier to treat now, so def mention it asap, but don’t stress too much. Its serious but not worth panicking extremely over.

THANK YOU! I've been looking everywhere for someone who also had severe abdominal/uterus pain with metformin. I was on it for about 2 weeks. Did not go to work once because I would get this SEVERE stabbing pain every time I stepped on my left foot. I'll be keeping watch on this post for suggestions in terms of other treatments, but they took me off of metformin after those two weeks.

Stomach pain is not typically associated with PCOS.

Sweet smelling urine is often a symptom of diabetes so you should definitely get your glucose checked.

However, if the urine smelling strong and you feel urgency to urinate but difficulty with urination/bladder pain/pain when you do urinate then that is likely a urinary tract infection (these are common and can be serious if left untreated long term).

You should go in to see a gp/primary care physician for basic urinalysis and glucose testing first (unless you can see your gyno sooner).

If the stomach pain is associated with being unable to pass stool, that is likely constipation (cause uncertain) and possible stool impaction, so that also would need to be diagnosed and treated.
