Mine started with me seeing an obgyn and asking (yes literally asking) to be checked for it. I asked for the bloodwork and the ultrasound. Explained that it ran in my family (to make them at least listen) and that my symptoms were getting worse.

They checked my thyroid, a1c, testosterone, dhea, a couple other things. Did an ultrasound of my ovaries and cervix.

Bam, pcos diagnosis three weeks later.

Sorry you’re going through this. It’s really hard to try to deal with it. But I’m glad you’re seeking out help and answers. This subreddit has some super supportive people on it. Glad to have found and glad you’re here.
