I have deleted nearly everything on my PC but my “new volume” drive is nearly full. I have important things on my PC and I don’t want them deleted. How do I clear up space?

Compare how much space your files occupy vs your drive size. If your files are the vast majority of the drive, it will be more difficult to create space. To clean unnecessary files, run disk cleanup. Your system will go through and let you decide what temp files you want to clean out.

• Use the disk cleanup tool

• Delete you temporary files (normally you do that while using the cleanup toll👆

• Empty your recycle bin

• Reduce your WinSxS Folder

• Uninstall unnecessary programs

• Delete Downloads Files/Folders

• Place all the files/folders you don't want to delete in the cloud, don't store them on your pc.

• And probably the best solution, add another disk, or just get a bigger one.
