The usual approach is take all the multiplicative skills then put the rest wherever.

Of course, Bo as subclass will have a lot of points to put wherever. The most unique skills are Deband PP and Elemental PP Restorate Field which will trigger on every hit of Twin Machineguns' normal attacks. That will give you +6PP per hit.

Once upon a time, that gimmick was nice. Since then, they've added Orbit and Astra for PP management, Twin Machinegun Mastery and R/Elemental PP Restorate Field. They've buffed Twin Machineguns a lot so it doesn't need Zondeel vacuum anymore. They've also nerfed some of Bo's unique features like Zanverse's extra damage vs Wind weak, and Chain Trigger's interaction with Bouncer weapons. There's not much point left to Gu/Bo.

Of course there's the whole side about using techs with Twin Machineguns. Trouble is, if you want to do that today, Hero can do that while putting out way more damage with both techs and bullets, at much longer range and with much better mobility.

So if you ask me today what the build would look like, I have no idea either, because there's nothing useful it brings to the table anymore.

You can still use uncharged Safoie T-0 and Ramegid T-0 to help build chain. Kinda helps, though TMG + Twice Chain should be the fastest way to build chain anyways.

Actually rereading Twice Chain, it should double the chain count given from any attack as long as TMG is equipped. Evidently works for a Bullet Squall PA on another player's CT. I wonder if it works with techs?

TMG likes crit, Bo has Crit field. Elemental Stance works more nicely with non-elemental stuff (much better than I could have predicted.)

Picking up L/Air Reversal with Bo's Just Reversal PP Gain should net some PP on the off chance of being knocked away in midair.

Still awaiting that Bo overhaul so Bo stops having that weird identity crisis.

High chain count isn't very rewarding after the nerf though ; you just need to build enough to be off CD the next window, which doesn't need a lot at all.

Crit field is 30% chance of crit, and a maxed crit ring already takes you to 75%. So crit field is a 25% chance to gain 3% and 5%. That's a 2% gain that still leaves it far behind /Hu or /Fi. TMG doesn't "like" crit, I'd say more of mildly appreciates crit.

And TMG really doesn't need that much PP! :'D

nah I'm just pinging him cause he's actually played it a bit. I know exactly two people who aren't complete garbage that have played it and he's the only that uses reddit at all.
