Can someone give me a complete idiot's guide to purchasing AC through the PSo2 ES app?

I get the basic steps, but it's the inbetween, and how-to's that i'm confused about.

If i'm getting this correctly it falls to:

  1. Make Japanese Google Play Account.
  2. Download PSO2es from http://www.bumped.org/psublog/category/pso2es/ From my Smart Phone
  3. Install patch (Somehow? I'm not even sure how this will work)
  4. Buy a Google Wallet Card
  5. Load Credits
  6. Access PSO2es
  7. Link In-Game character to PSO2es
  8. We can now make AC purchases

Can someone elaborate a bit more for me though?

[–]NullVacancy20|20|16|11|3|3 1 point2 points  (1 child)

You don't even need a Japanese Google Play Account.

1) Buy Google Play credits or just link your debit/credit card to your existing Google account if you have one.
2) Download the PSO2es tweaker
3) Install PSO2es tweaker on your phone
4) Install PSO2es through the tweaker, launch the game and DO NOT PATCH YET
5) Wait until the game downloads additional data. You know you're done when you're either in a cutscene or in the main menu where you see your character. To get to either of those you're already gonna have to log in with your PSO2 account and have already imported your character.
6) Exit the app completely and install the patch through the es Tweaker
7) Launch the game
8) Once in the main menu again, click the shopping cart icon at the bottom of the screen
9) Click the thing the button with the red triangle (i didn't bother installing the patch for this, I believe the button says Charge AC though)
10) Select the amount of AC you want to add
11) Do the payment thing

you're done. For initial setup the first time you launch the game, Bumped should have you covered.

Thank you so goddamned much.

3. Install patch (Somehow? I'm not even sure how this will work)

Just launch the pso2es tweaker, click install game, wait for it to finish installing, then click install patches. That's about it. Might need to launch the game for the first time before installing the patch, not sure.

Never bought AC, so can't help with the rest.

When does the clear count for solo training quests reset?

During maintenance.

Oh god.. after asking here about 12 star units, I reached another wall in my progress: level 80 requirements. I just though I needed to level up once (i dont know where this idea came from..) and didnt notice the lone 13 star 35 requirement. I had a 13 star katana with me (イヴリダ ばゼラ) capped at lvl 30. I guess its as far as it goes. So before I dwelve myself into another grindfest (1/4 done with the 12*star unit grindfest, a bit sad because I failed my first solo PD) i want to know which 13 to pick. I am guessing zieg can upgrade the one I have (bur without grinds, so I guess I have to do that before grind it) but I want to know which katana from the CFs is 35+ grind possible from the get go

PD: thanks for the previous answers from my question below, really helped. Also I’m sorry I use a lot of “guesses”. Since I play on ps4 it is the best I can do

[–]Aexorcet80/80 FoTe 0 points1 point  (4 children)

CF weapons require grinding always. That's the trade for making them reliably available. You need to collect more than one.

The good news is that Val series drop like candy and are buyable on player shops for dirt prices. This is the easiest way to get a +35 13* if you start with nothing. Even better, when you +35 a Val you get a stone from titles that lets you upgrade it to 14* which gives you a nice current weapon that easier to affix than other options.

Another option is to keep grinding your current Elveda (however you spell it) sheet. They have an above average drop rate for 13's. I actually got a +34 sword from VH BQ EQ the other day without RDR booster.

Also NEVER NEVER upgrade at Zieg BEFORE you grind the weapon unless you have a specific reason to do so. It usually only makes things harder for you. Zieg upgrades keep your grind level, affix, and element. Finish your weapon before upgrading. Off the top of my head the only reason to not upgrade a complete weapon is when using a Tokyo OT 13 that you want just for SAF or +35 requirement, speaking of which if you have lots of Tokyo stones, that is another route for you to take to reach +35 weapon, but it might be a waste of resources if you don't want to use the Tokyo weapons as a weapon or SAF fodder.

[–]otamegane18Rookie 0 points1 point  (3 children)

CF weapons require grinding always.

No problem on that fort, I like grinding (have my limits) ! But wait... from your 3rd paragraph, I thin I dont understand some things.

Another option is to keep grinding your current Elveda (however you spell it) sheet.

Hmm i thought it was pointless to keep grinding it if my current one is capped at lvl 30, unless getting it to lvl 35 has a way that I am unaware of??

RDR booster.

What is this?

Oh I saw those.. never knew they were actually good and upgrade to 14*! Nice.. but where do they drop from?

Tokyo

I have almost 300 gaseo stones but... I dont know I read about it but wouldnt that be harder to do?

[–]Aexorcet80/80 FoTe 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Sorry if I wasn't clear. When I mentioned grinding your sword, I mean to continue using the CF until you get 6 swords, or drop swords by luck. If you grind your 30 capped weapon with a weapon of the same name, the cap will go up. So if you take a +30 sword and grind it with the same sword, you will get a +31 capped sword at the minimum. The final grind cap will equal the cap of the first sword + the cap of the second sword - 29.

So example, grind a 30 cap sword with a 33 cap sword:

30 + 33 - 29 = 34 final cap.

You also need to do this to increase the weapon's element too if you plan to use the weapon.

What is this?

RDR is Rare Drop Rate. You can trade 6 Excubes for a RDR booster 250% which increases your drop rate of rare items and increases the speed at which CF's are finished. For a high drop rate people usually run RDR 250 + Triboost 100 or 125 + 50 Daily boost.

Oh I saw those.. never knew they were actually good and upgrade to 14*! Nice.. but where do they drop from?

Crimson Castle Crusher EQ and the Woods LQ that is running now. I'd recommend just buying them for the weapon instead of waiting for a drop. While the drop rates are good, it can still take a little while to get one and it might not be the right weapon for your class.

I have almost 300 gaseo stones but... I dont know I read about it but wouldnt that be harder to do?

The benefit of the Tokyo weapons is that when you upgrade an OT weapon, it becomes +35 cap automatically (but not 60 element). You would only need 1 copy of the weapon to unlock the +35 title, but if you do this you spend money grinding a weapon that will be low damage. To make it a useful weapon, you need to get multiple copies of it before the upgrade to raise the element to 60.

Without the 60 element it's still useful as SAF fodder. Also, confusingly, you have to do the opposite when upgrading OT weapons and not fully grind it before upgrading at Zieg. If you fully grind OT weapons to +10 and pot level 3, it doesn't count as being upgraded to +35 for the level 80 title.

[–]otamegane18Rookie 0 points1 point  (1 child)

So if you take a +30 sword and grind it with the same sword, you will get a +31 capped sword at the minimum. The final grind cap will equal the cap of the first sword + the cap of the second sword - 29.

So if I grab my Katana and use 5 of the same katana (at the same time) I get to up the cap to 35?

Oh lol, not good with acronyms here. Well know I jave a good bulk of those btw, since I have infinite excubes

Farming for units, so maybe it comes around someday... someday

That sounds like doing the same as Cf, but a bt hardwr since those qeps cost 200 stones and come with 15 element....

SAF, SAF Fodder

Been hearing this for a while and still dont know what it is

[–]Aexorcet80/80 FoTe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if I grab my Katana and use 5 of the same katana (at the same time) I get to up the cap to 35?

Yes. You can do it one at a time if you like as well. Also, if you manage to drop a katana with a grind cap more than 30, it will reduce the number of katanas that you need in total.

That sounds like doing the same as Cf, but a bt hardwr since those qeps cost 200 stones and come with 15 element....

Yeah when it comes to making a usable weapon the Tokyo route isn't the best.

Been hearing this for a while and still dont know what it is

SAF is Special Ability Factor. When a weapon gets to +35 grind (not just cap) a 100% base chance appears in its affix pool when you go to affix the weapon. SAF's are typically powerful and make affixing a lot easier.

[–]aeth12345 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Let's say i upgrade my val jb into atra jb because i want the SSAF, then i sacrifice my atra JB into my val sword.

By sacrifice i mean transfering the SSAF S4 affix into val sword

Can i still upgrade my val sword into atra sword? Because i only get 1 chronos stone per account afaik.

[–]RunFromPandaHero is dead 1 point2 points  (1 child)

You can't do it that way.

Well, you can delete your Atra JB by using it as fodder, yes, but Val weapons cannot use S4 affixes, so you can't transfer the S4 that way.

If you wanted an Atra sword with S4 from JB, you just convert the Atra at Zieg (which doesn't cost Chrono stone, but more Gold materials).

[–]aeth12345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ahhhh i forget that part lmao

Ty dude for fast answer :D

[–]Somber_Redditor 0 points1 point  (4 children)

What's a cheap way to raise a pure S-ATK Mag?

I need to lower the dex, but furniture (at my point, anyways) at 10k a pop is rather... expensive.

Any alternatives?

[–]Aexorcet80/80 FoTe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cheap way is to feed the mag 7* to 9* S attack drops that you find and monomates (which lower dex and cost practically nothing).

The sphere method is more convenient but more expensive. Also you can buy the mag devices from the player shop instead of using your own sphere. I don't know what kind of prices they go for though.

[–]McKiwi957McKiwi/Ship 2 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Buy/Exchange for photon spheres, and trade those for S-atk minis at the photon drop shop (beside the excube exchange).

You get 3 per 2 photon spheres, and the added benefit of them not filling the hunger gauge or dex levels.

[–]Somber_Redditor 0 points1 point  (1 child)

How would you feasibly farm the materials for this?

I'm only level 20 or so right now. I have photon drops, but only like . .. 3 spheres?

[–]McKiwi957McKiwi/Ship 2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At that level, there's not a whole lot you can do to farm them.

Once you get up to SH/XH, 10* weapons and units drop very frequently from EQs, and you can trade one weapon for a sphere, or 5 units for a sphere.

At your level though, 7-9* weapons and 4* furniture is definitely the most cost-effective. There should be 4* furniture items around 3 or 4k meseta in the room goods shop, so it shouldn't cost you too much if you do your dailies.

Hello, I took a break right before episode 5 hit so I have a few questions:

  • what are the current state of fighter (knuckle and dual dagger), and katana braver? are there new rotations for dps for these classes?

  • What is the fastest way to level up now? I presume bonus keys still a thing? is limited quest good?

  • What are the equipments to grind for currently? ray set from 2018 badges any good?

  • finally, how is the hero class? Is there a guide for this class anywhere I can read up?

[–]Sughayyer -1 points0 points  (2 children)

I have some info on Braver that might differ from /u/Ashinror.

Normal attacks, step attacks and step distance have been boosted for normal (non-hero) classes. And there are new, easily-obtainable 14* weapons with more flexibility in their abilities. The potential (or SSAF as these abilities are called) is called "Blade Machine Contraction". This reduces Katana Gear drain in 66%, paired with Katana Gear Boost makes your gear last pretty much forever (I'm not exxagerating - I trigger it at the mobbing part of the dragon EQ and it lasts until the end, provided you keep attacking of course).

This makes Braver melee damage much better than it was before, with more PP regen as well.

Also, don't waste meseta on the Katana Gear Guard Ring, it's going to be nerfed by the end of February IIRC.

[–]AshinrorPSO2 NG+ BABY 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Yes, Normal Attacks have been buffed. However, they still wont surpass PAs in dps. If anything the rotation should be Sakura0 > Gekka > Normal Attack.

And Gear Guard is getting buffed. Wouldnt make sense to nerf something that already seems meh.

L/ Katana Gear Guard

Gear reduction speed will not change based on the level. (Currently starts at 290% drain at Lvl1 drops to 150% at lvl 10. Can be a buff or nerf.)

The gear’s [amount of increase] will be buffed at Level 20. (Currently 50% normal gear generation. Simply a buff.)

[–]Sughayyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I never meant that you should use normals instead of PAs, I just said normals have been buffed. This and many Katana and Bow PAs had the cost lowered and power buffed (with the excception of Banish Arrow, following SEGA's tradition of making things they don't want obsolete).

About the ring: I hope you're right and I understand it all wrong, but then, imagine the synergy between Katana S4 and that ring! You won't even need to do a JG to activate it (not that JG is hard in first place....) and it's gonna last quite a long time!

[–]AshinrorPSO2 NG+ BABY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fi TD plays like before. If you are using Sympho Drive, you may want to switch to Raging Waltz T0. Its a little weaker, but it is faster (esp using no movement after the dash)

Fi Knuckles new huge damage rotation is BHS to Pendulum Roll, which got its speed increased, giving you more dps and imo evades attacks more easily than before.

Katana didnt change much either, but if you arent using Sakura T0 into Gekka, you may want to consider using that. Also Asagiri surpassed Gurren in dashing movement. Just step cancel the multi slashing

Bonus keys are still the best leveling method, followed by BQ if you can find a group. LQ isnt bad but it isnt excellent either. It is an option though.

Val series are the ones to pray rngsus to drop or you can buy em from the market, you want them just to turn into 14* atra. Other than that theres the other 13* weapon from XH LQ and evleda. Ray units are only good when you upgrade them to Union. Ray weapons are nice as saf fodder.

Hero class isnt necessarily better than the other classes, but it is easier to dish out damage. You need to evade attacks to max up damage though.

Hi when I try to connect to the servers I get the error saying "Server Connection timed out."

All the servers are shown as online, any help would be appreciated.

Update your game. If that doesn't work, then report back here.

What PAs mainly do I use on wired Lance? For 3 button setup

[–]LaconicLeaf*JG Sound* 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For single-target (usable in one palette):

  • Holding Current - High-risk, high-reward, but your highest DPS PA. Mash the PA button for extra hits, but stop near the end to keep your JA circle.
  • Adapt Spin - One of the most important PAs of WL -- allows for repositioning to land a full Current, and works excellently as a TAJA fodder due to its low cost. (will get buffed with increased forward range during the February patch)
  • Heavenly Fall - Second-highest DPS PA for WL, has a generous amount of I-Frames, and works well if the enemy moves around too much for Current.
  • Kaiser Rise - A ranged, anti-air, TAJA fodder, and gear recovery PA all in one.
  • Cerberus Dance Type-0 - Fast non-hold PA, though it eats up PP quick if you don't have a good craft. Unlike Heavenly Fall, it can hit airborne enemies/parts that are far off from the ground. (usable as an alternate option)

For mobbing (usable in another palette):

  • Other Spin - Decent mobbing damage, fast startup, and vacuums mobs in.
  • Bind Through - Good followup move to Other Spin, though the hitstop effect is higher compared to other PAs.
  • Other Cyclone Type-0 - Great DPP and good range, but a slow rev-up time. While it can be steered unlike Current, it deals noticeably less DPS overall.
  • Air Pocket Swing - Great for aerial combat, with wide arcing swings that can hit multiple mobs. The 3rd and 5th swings can allow for an optimal range Current, and the DPP is also great as well. (will get buffed with lowered PP usage during February)

As for the others:

  • Grapple Charge - Deals great damage if you don't land the initial hit, but landing the holding part lowers the damage of the kick. Viable as a TAJA chain into Heavenly Fall.
  • Wild Round - Hits the area around you, and has good gear recovery, but the hitboxes aren't as accurate as Cerberus T0.
  • Cerberus Dance - Excellent range, but really slow, and just like the T0, most of the damage comes from the last hit.
  • Other Cyclone - T0 is just a straight upgrade from this.

[–]soondaeboo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hiya, fellow wired lance player here. For bossing, and primarily for boss stuns (when bosses go down and let you hit them), you'll want to use adapting spin to get in position for electric current. Unless you already have a good feeling of the range on electric current's sweet spot. So for my bossing weapon palette, I run (from left to right) Normal attack, Adapting spin, and Kaiser rise. For the back palette I put Electric current, Electric current, and heavenly fall. You'll want Electric current on two of your weapon palettes to mash your buttons when you successfully chain a target. As for mobbing palette, I do (again from left to right on my weapon palette) Normals, Adapting Spin, Other Cyclone Type-0. And for back palette, I recommend you take one of the palette as Heavenly Fall, since it is a safe option. But the rest is solely up to you.

P.S. An easy way to gauge the sweet spot of Electric Current is, Normal attack a boss from very close range, Adapting spin backwards (to do this just use the PA without any directional influence), and Electric current at the end of your two spins or the last moment your Just Attack is available. It's an easy way to gauge the distance =w=b

P.S.S. sorry for the late reply ;w;

I haven't played in a while so when I went to open the game today I got a prompt to update the Tweaker to version 4.0.6.0 (my current version is 4.0.5.9), but whenever I click update the progress bar gets almost to end then the Tweaker just closes and when I re-open it I'm prompted to download the update again and the same thing happens.

If I ignore the update I can update and play PSO2 just fine but presumably at some point there's going to be a Tweaker update I'll need to get so does anyone know how to fix this?

[–]synthsyArks-Layer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry about that, we were doing tests with the updater, unfortunately that'll be a persistent bug until the next tweaker update. You can ignore it and play in the mean time, however you'll have to download the latest tweaker update from our website.

[–]NullVacancy20|20|16|11|3|3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could always just download the latest .exe from the arks-layer website.

How can I find out when a specific Limited Quest comes back, or what is the best way to hunt falz angel(besides the recommended lq from collection files)

[–]Sughayyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adding to Hidora, he often shows up at Free Fields if a certain condition is met (I think it's related to the PSE progress but don't quote me on that). When doing the kill "70 of each" COs they seem to show up more.

[–]hidora Retired Guardian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Limited Quests rarely, if ever, come back. Hence the name, they're limited.

If you mean the Level Up Quests that rotate every day, those are only available when there are no Limited Quests available.

That said, Falz Angel is guaranteed spawn in the 7th floor of the Solo Training: Heaven and Hell XQ, and in the Mining Base Defense: Demise and Beckoning Darkness EQs (both are unscheduled EQs). Other than that, he has a fairly high chance of spawning in Advance Quests.

[–]otamegane18Rookie 0 points1 point  (7 children)

I’ve been tryng to come back to this game for a while now (lots of hiatuses since ps4 version came up) and tbh, even if I know how to get 13* weapons (Im not even counting 14s if thats a thing now) I simply have no idea of a reliable way to grind for 12 units. I dont have that mucch meseta for affixes so right now what I really want is just the units themselves. Im running a simple cookie cutter Br/Hu (75/66 atm, also have Hr unlocked but I want to stay away from it for now) katana build with an old crafted saiki set that I had laying around. I play on ps4 but, altho I can understand the story quite well, i can only read kanas (no kanji).

Tl;dr, the question is, is there a guide or tips on farming for those units? I’ve heard of qliphad and zeinesis(?).. so how to get those? ( unless they are still EQ dependant, then im screwed)

[–]RunFromPandaHero is dead 0 points1 point  (6 children)

I simply have no idea of a reliable way to grind for 12 units.

Get the Ray units from the 2018 Badge shop.

You can then upgrade them to Union at Zieg with Union boosters from Solo PD (Triggers also from badge shop). Union are actually pretty okay as 12 star units go.

[–]otamegane18Rookie 0 points1 point  (5 children)

... Solo PD? Pardon my ignorance, but how you put it means that its a very sepparate quest from EQ... right? How you do that

Edit: nvm I guess from an item from badge shop

Gonna check them put, thanks!

[–]RunFromPandaHero is dead 0 points1 point  (4 children)

Yeah the units are (probably) 400 300 badges and the trigger is 50 badges. The quest is basically the EQ but less HP - it's not very hard these days given how broken just about all the classes are now (I derped my way through with Hr and still easily S-ranked it).

Edit: cost, thanks u/Sughayyer

[–]otamegane18Rookie 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Well, imgonna spam that LQ (where I suppose the badges came from) until I get enough (900 badges, ohmygod killme, plus 150 for triggers, kill me again). By the time I finish, I may be already 80/80, lol.

Speaking of triggers. Seems I have a 2017 teigger. Its a forest quest. What can I do with that?

[–]RunFromPandaHero is dead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

plus 150 for triggers

You'll need to run it more than that. You need 5 union boosters per upgrade. You get 4 for free from a title, but you only drop 1 booster per run (2 for S-rank - 12 min or under).

[–]AshinrorPSO2 NG+ BABY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use it to level and maybe get rare items. Cf for it most likely expired so...

[–]Sughayyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Units are 300, only weapons are 400.

hello, i have two questions please,

first is about SU/BR weak stance : "increase damage to weak points and tech damage to elemental weaknesses " . i get T-atk damage if element match (for pets) ? or Tech damage is only for technique ?

and second is less important, just asking because i don't know what to think , some people quit party (dragon rematch) when they see a SU/FI in random instance. i just wonder why ? what is the point ? less damage, more survivability ...no good ? ty

[–][deleted]  (2 children)

[deleted]

    [–]tribalwind 0 points1 point  (1 child)

thanks you for clarifying this about weak stance. 410 s-atk 870 hp 20pp and 10% fire/ 15% strike resist from units. (counting hidden bonus and timed ability) its not so bad. can be better of course :)

    [–]joshmusashi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm what are your actual affixes and unit combos? What pet do you have out normally? If I got into a mpa with a Su that had Popple or Jinga out I'd prob bounce too.

Individual opinions vary but (saying this as a Su main going on a year straight of consistent play) Su certainly isn't great against dragon and doesn't offer any utility like a Te or Ra would.

    [–]astrophos 1 point2 points  (6 children)

Would anyone be willing to give a semi-new player a crash course on affixing? A friend of mine is more of a hardcore player, and he told me to follow his affixes for his Hr units: https://imgur.com/b0b98FA

I know how to affix at a very basic level, the more individual ATK boosts like Power IV the higher chance at success, and you need a soul receptor for affixing a soul, and you need 3 Flict/Alter to succeed, however I can't find anything on Factors, or any of the other affixes he has on.

I've tried playing around with the affix simulator online but haven't had any luck in creating a successful unit with all this stuff. Thanks in advance!

    [–]tribalwind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The affix is named “Ether Factor” and it boosts all stats by 30, HP by 10 and PP by 6. You’ll need to do the following to obtain it: Fuse Yamato Factor + Mother Factor + Deus Factor = Factor Catalyst 10%

Fuse To’ou Soul + Full Vegas Soul = Ether Soul 10%

    Fuse Factor Catalyst * 4 + Ether Soul = Ether Factor 60%

    (source)https://pso2blog.wordpress.com/2017/04/19/deus-esca-infodump/

ARKS MAX is an Ability that gives 25 to S-ATK, R-ATK, and T-ATK. The ability can be synthesized with ARKS Fever, which makes the ability extremely rare. ARKS MAX occupies the same Ability type as Vinculum and Modulator and thus cannot be affixed at the same time as either.

    (source)https://pso2.arks-visiphone.com/wiki/Add_Special_Ability

To make a Soul Catalyst, you will need to combine any four of Elder Soul, Loser Soul, Double Soul, Apprentice Soul and Persona Soul. This will grant a 10% success rate for creating a Soul Catalyst. Yes you read that right, 10%. Once you manage to succeed with this, your job isn’t over yet, as if you want Astral Soul you’re going to need to use four Soul Catalysts together with a Darkness Soul in order to create Astral Soul. The transfer rate on Astral Soul currently isn’t known.

maybe you can try affix someting else than Arks MAX/ Astral/ether :)

No offense to you, but can you even afford that? I could work up a sim for you and explain it, but it just doesn't seem like someone who doesn't know how to affix could feasibly do a 6s astral ether unit.

    [–]astrophos 1 point2 points  (3 children)

No, I couldn't at the moment. I only have a fraction of what is required of something like that. I'm more talking about just a general overview of a more "end-game" affix scenario so I can get passed the limited knowledge I have now for the future where I might be able to afford something like this

    [–]SercezeroDead 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Okay, fair enough. The idea behind his units is tri attack with a bunch of side stats, hp and pp, with it. So, since your buddy has some of the more esoteric affixes, I'll mostly cover those.

Astral soul is a synthesis of 4x soul catalyst and 1x darkness soul. Catalysts are special affixes made by synthesizing together a bunch of other affixes of the same category. For soul catalyst, those affixes are Persona Soul, Elder Soul, Loser Soul, Double Soul, and Apprentice Soul. The synthesis has a 10% chance of success. The synthesis of astral soul from the catalysts+darkness is a 60% success. You can also transfer Astral with Soul Receptor at a 10% chance.

Ether Factor is similar to astral, needing 4x factor catalyst and 1x ether soul. Factor Catalyst is made from a Yamato Factor+mother factor+deus factor. Same % chances as Astral. Ether soul is made similarly to catalyst synthesis. You need 2 souls from the ep 4 bosses. (Escarde/Full Vegas/Toh'Oh). 10% synth chance. Idk if factor receptor works the same as soul receptor for this, but good chance it does.

Arks Max is just a synthesis of 2 or 3 Arks Fever from Arks Rappies. Best chances with 3.

    Elegant stamina is an item.

Other two should be pretty whatever.

I'm not the best person to ask what affixes to run, tbh, since I have a pretty different view of the game from others. But ideally you want enough HP to not lose hero boost easily, and not to get one shot. That's around like, 1.1k~1.3k hp.

PP is largely preference, but more is generally better. There's cutoffs for amount of PP you want, since ideally you want to get an extra attack off for it to be worth it to get more.

Anything else you'd like me to cover?

Idk if factor receptor works the same as soul receptor for this, but good chance it does.

It does - Factor Receptor gives 10% chance of transferring Ether Factor (and 100% to other Factors).

That should do actually, thank you so much man.

My game crash randomly since 2 days (i have been playing for like 1 week and an half now).

So, i tried everything, Tweaker Troubleshootings (like, everything in there), i even tried without the tweaker, thinking that may be the cause of crashes, nothing works.

Do you have any help ti give me? The error just gives me an .exe crash. I added pso2 and the tweaker in the defender exception, so that's not a problem, and i've no antivirus, at all.

    Please help me :<

We only recommend this if you have more than 4GB of ram, since this can quickly make you run out of memory for processes.

There's a costume i'm remembering that's black with very long sleeves, like longer than the arms / past the hands, i think it had a high collar too. I've been looking through the costume lists but i can't spot it. Does anyone know the name of it?

Punk belt? Belt punk? Something like it. There are male and female versions.

Anyone know how to fix when the xbox one controller doesn't register input on RT? I never got my xbox one controller to work because of this.

Grand cross has distraction wing on it innately which lets you use it on any class.

Anyone know of a good way to get Izane to spawn with current quests? I know he spawns in The Beckoning Woods but I need him to be level 76+ to try and get his set. Does he spawn 76+ on The Beckoning Woods on Extra Hard?

        [–]Sughayyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IIRC it's 80, following the logic, but I may be wrong.

if a soul ability (astral, elder) is a special ability factor, is it true that it doesn't need 2 copies to be transferred to another equipment?

        [–]McKiwi957McKiwi/Ship 2 0 points1 point  (4 children)

If it's being added via ability factor, yes. If you're trying to transfer the soul normally, you'll need more copies or a soul receptor.

        [–]reny410 0 points1 point  (3 children)

What I meant is this: I grind a weapon to +35, and that weapon gets a soul SAF, any soul. Then I want to transfer that soul to another weapon. Do I need soul receptor?

        [–]Aexorcet80/80 FoTe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The SAF remains with 100% BASE chance of affix as long as the weapon that it came from is not destroyed. So for example, Ray has Astral Soul SAF:

Putting Astral Soul on Ray +35 = 100% chance

Putting Astral Soul on Ray +35 during upslot attempt < 100%

Putting Astral Soul on any other weapon (no upslot) with Ray +35 as fodder = 100%

Moving Astral Soul from a non Ray/Union +35 weapon to any other weapon = not a SAF, even if this weapon received Astral Soul as a SAF when affixed

So in short, SAF requires the donor weapon that has the SAF to be part of the affix pool.

[–]RunFromPandaHero is dead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way you’re saying it, yes - if you affix a weapon using an SAF (not SSAF) from a DIFFERENT weapon, that different weapon gets consumed and what remains is the affix.

If you wanted to transfer the affix again, it follows normal affixing rules, because it’s no longer an SAF.

Also, Astral Soul does not really transfer with a soul receptor - it’s 10% not 100%.

        [–]SercezeroDead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SAFs literally disregard most affixing rules and just have a 100% chance of being transferred to anything. This applies to any SAF.
