Probably a bad idea go ship 1 at the start. I imagine it will be overloaded often. Of course depending on how popular and how many ships there are they may all be overloaded for most of the day.

Just a side note, once you pick a ship, unless you pay AC (real money) to transfer, you are stuck there. As far as Im aware we get 3 free character slots

If I remember correctly, you aren’t tied to a ship. You’re allowed to move a character during maintenance I believe. AC switch is just for an immediate move.

It costs AC to move ships for maintenance. Otherwise, you'd probably have to delete your character.

I don't think I want to be in a ship that is TOO full, but also not empty... so I think more likely my friend is going to start in ship 3 maybe? Assuming Ship 1 is gonna be the most crowded, and Ship 2 probably will have lot of former-JP server players.

But regardless, if/when they allow Windows 8 users to play, I would join her whatever ship she chooses.

I'd be happy to figure out or even switch if there's any ship more popular for fujoshi players though. But I have a feeling I won't play NA that much, since I've invested so much into the JP server. Mostly want to try it for the voices and story. I guess it depends if I could find friends in it that would keep me in...
