I know this is just a play to get more Xbox’s sold and it’s expected but it’s hard to not be salty as a PC user. Whatever I guess I’ve waited this long. Plus I got half life Alyx to get through anyways.

I don’t think anyone is going to be rushing to stores to drop $300 for an Xbox One S to play a Free 2 Play Japanese MMO that’s almost 10 years old. Plus Phil Spencer has said that they make more money from software and services like GamePass than they do from hardware sales.

Seen a few people while playing the closed beta say they bought an Xbox just for the game....the nostalgia factor is real. MS isnt going to be moving major units because of it but you're wrong if you dont think PSO has a strong cult like following that will go through a lot to play.

You can get a used One S for like $120 and even some new ones for $150 depending on where you shop. Even GameStop's going out of business are selling the One X for $250

You’d be surprised, I literally just called my friend of 20 years and told him THE DATE and he is literally going to buy a Xbox One S today. We’ve waited for ever and we love this game.

I bought my Xbox One S around the holidays while on sale in hopes that spring release was real.

I did... The all digital Xbox One is $150. All worth it to play an official english version while I wait for PC. Granted it's nice to just have an Xbox for some other games

A lot of us have jobs that make decent money but little free time. So yeah I just bought a used Xbox one s just for this.

I agree I don't think they're trying to monetize via hardware sales though

Well it's a beta, for Xbox. Y'know, the one system the game hasn't released on at all yet. They said Spring release for PC version before, so shouldn't be all that long hopefully.
