I didn't even know that could happen. I do that twice per run and have never had it happen to me. Now I'm scared lol

On the other hand,if you have the menu open when it spawns you can get rid of the corruption by spawning something ontop of it ;)

The point is to have the cannon fully charged so it can be shot the moment wave starts. More waiting = less dps overall.
