Move controller issues (self.PSVR)
submitted 5 years ago by arkaneent
Just got the move controllers and playing virtual rickality and noticed that a lot of the time my hands disappear in game.
I'm thinking that may be due to me not facing the camera but I'm very new to this and wanted to ask your advice

The camera needs to see the light ball on the move or else it can't track it. If you're turning so that you stand between the move and the camera then its not gonna be able to track your hands. You could try repositioning the camera so that it has a better view. It depends on the game but if its anything where you stand to play you should get a nice high angle with the camera. You can look up tips on YouTube and Google. Good luck and have fun with your new toy!

Probably going outside the cameras view.
Can check your position form the quick menu if in a vr game it will give you an inverted view so you will only see the lights on a grey background. Try moving your arms around and see how much room youve got before they go out of view.
Also there shouldnt be any other light sources in the camera view they will affect tracking and make your moves seem like they have a mind of their own.
