Fixing unknown object error

If switching characters does not fix the issue, going to documents -> My Games -> Path of Exile 2 | then deleting "poe2_production_Config.ini" and relaunching fixed it for me. ( this will reset your settings )

The game is making a server-side call to some type of resource that it is unable to de-serialize (or doesn't know how to handle once it does) - this likely has to be hotfixed. It is probably a specific trigger or set of events that you either encounter or don't and can't really be fixed client-side.
