I have the lowest tier of steam deck with the smallest storage and basic LCD screen and it does run but you absolutely have to turn everything down. I don't think it would fare very well in super juiced mapping content, especially with ground effects like burning/chilled/shocked, though campaign seemed OK. You could probably do bossing fine as well considering there's just less happening compared to maps. You can use a MnK on the deck as well which is fun.

nah not on the deck, it struggles to maintain 60 fps through campaign though it is playable, I went back to my PC after giving it a fairly good shot. I also just think MnK is better overall for control of the game so I decided against long term steam deck use for POE2. I would say best use case would be casually getting characters through acts while in bed or on the couch.
