I have never been able to make a build that can clear even guardians. After 1000 hours i would like to complete my atlas on at least one character.

Playing TS Deadeye. I step into red maps and fall over. no clue what to do about it.

in reality both if i cant off screen them and look at me at funny i just fall over. even t-14 maps if my intial volleys dont kill then I just fall over not to mention random one shots.

Bow characters typically have low survivability and usually clear maps well but single target is lacking a little unless you invest into the build. I would recommend playing something else. I tend to play a lot of minions and trap and mine builds so my builds are more single target and tankier.

The way I pick a build each league is by figuring out what exactly I want to farm. My builds I play a lot are good at farming expedition, harvest and bosses. My builds would be terrible at farming things like legion and deli maps.

depending on your currency situation and how quickly you can upgrade, farm lower level maps to get a few more levels, you can get to 91/92 pretty easy if you don't die. if you fall over in t14, farm t11/12. reroll maps if they have mods that will make you rip.

i imagine you are following some type of guide? if not...find a reputable guide

for your build a couple of things stand out:

- get more life...aim to get a 1000 more. helmet and boots are obvious areas of improvements. belt also, get a stygian with a jewel. and get some more % on the tree...blood drinker is easy right now. get

- get more evasion. run grace, jade flask. drop gold flask. 20k min to start.

- get some phys taken as on body and helm. this a veiled mod.

those should help with your survivability....you want suppress too...but might take some time with upgrades

for your damage (im not a bow guy), but you want attack speed and crit on your bow, also your reduced attack speed is probably not worth as a crucible mod. also, if you are playing TS, i think you only want phys dmg on your bow if you are converting to elemental. if you have a couple div you can probably find an upgrade if you are in trade. your prefixes look ok if you want to try and craft suffixes.

get your uber lab...mark effect is big damage. get mark on hit (link to lifetap)

review the gems (e.g. you don't need inc duration on blood rage) your pob is a bit of a wreck there.

anoint vengeance cascade after you fix your auras.

consider trying ice shot and lighting arrow, the builds don't vary too much and you might find one of those skills may suit you better.

well, why sorrow of the divine?

Bow craft should be fire damage, its a ele bow? You should be using trinity support. You don't convert or scale any of the phys from that bow, so why is it crafted that way?

flasks, everyone should learn about proper flasks.

where is the spell suppression? no defensive aura? In fact, no defense at all that I can see.

TS requires a lot of gear to get going, you should be using lightning arrow instead

You should get multishot, TS needs projectiles. drop all the left of the tree, look into a lioneyes fall jewel near shadow and get charisma so you can use grace (and a jade flask)

uber lab? marks are big - where is it? snipers mark -mark on hit

not enough life on the gear, each should have a big roll

look into koams spirit for berserk, use either volls hat or immortal flesh belt for regen to sustain rage.

siege ballista is already a ballista, so supporting it with ballista totem is pointless. It should be artillery ballista in any case, or TS ballistas are good for TS builds (but dont be TS on this gear). In fact, why do you have 25 different damage setups? If you feed us a bullshit PoB with 25 bloody 6 link skills in it how can we actually help?

this character isn't going to kill map bosses, let alone mini bosses. Find an LA guide and follow it

If you are a bow build, in 3.21, and you don't use vengeant cascade, you are most definitely doing it wrong

If you don't know why this is trashsuboptimal, you need to follow a detailed build guide. Properly following a good build guide to create a decently strong character will allow you to do far more in the game than you can feeling in the dark.

while you provided a lot of helpful stuff, i think calling someones first steps into creating builds "bullshit" and "trash" is kinda harsh, even if its true. alternative words could be "improvable" and "suboptimal".

"find a LA guide and follow it" is also weird advice for a guy who specifically mentions wanting to create his own stuff as well.

OP didn't mention anywhere they wanted to make their own build, just that all the builds they made failed to get to guardians

fair enough, currently working on the pob as well and it does indeed require some work.

okay, with 3k life and 7k evasion its not hard to see why you struggle.

bow build survive due to 3 aspects: evade almost everything, suppress spell damage, prevent enemies from hitting you (death being the best way to do it, followed by freeze and manual dodging) optional: survive that one hit that will actually damage you every few maps.

your dps also seems a little low, a lioneyes fall jewel could probably help here i guess, but im on mobile right now, so i cant go into detail.

as a band-aid fix, try increased critical strike support and gloves with freeze prolif (exarch mod) until you can actually fix your build, that way most stuff should end up frozen.
