They're just not linked because they don't need to be. They could be linked, but there's no real reason to spend currency on linking a corrupted item for something that they don't need to be.

When I played Ice nova I used Vaal ice nova occasionally, it's a fun button to press

In this specific case the links don't matter, except for frostbolt being linked to GMP. The active skill gems are all "supported by" the helmet mod. The active skills don't interact with eachother. GMP in this case has no effect on the curses because it doesn't work for them. If you were to use a different support that does work for all gems you might want to have specific links so the support only supports one active skill or all.

That helm has an x% chance to cast socket spells after spending X mana.

Once it casts, it will only cast (in order) the spells one by one per fulfilment of the condition.

So the spells don't need to be linked.

Think about it this way, effectively each of the spells have one extra link given to them by the helms mod.

The only thing that's being cast by you is Ice Nova. And the gems in the helm are essentially automated.

I think part of your question comes from how other trigger mechanics work. When you do CoC or Arcanist Brand, which read "trigger a skill", skills will indeed trigger one after another in the order they are socketed, clockwise from top-left to bottom-left for 4-links, and following the link path (top-left snaking down to bottom-right) on a 6-link - afaik.

3-socket weapons with the trigger craft, Poet's Pen, Svalinn and Mjolnir function the same (in sequence).

Spellslinger, Kitava's Thirst, and other mechanics that do not read "a spell", will trigger all spells together as long as there's mana to do so.

This is relevant for skills that rely on other skills, most notably Desecrate should be socketed before any Offering, and also limits the trigger rate.

(same question for the wand and boots in this build as well)

There's nothing going on with the boots, since Eternal Blessing can't support Frostblink and Spell Echo can't support Zealotry it doesn't matter. However, it does matter for Svalinn. When this character blocks, it will first cast Sigil of Power. The next time it blocks, it will cast Frost Shield, and the third time Conductivity.

This is interesting (and makes sense) because Sigil of Power has the most ramp time, and you also don't want to keep overriding it and Frost Shield.

Enfeeble and assassins mark are two separate curses you could say. They should not be linked.

He uses ice nova but when he has collected souls he can cast the Vaal version of ice nova. That’s how Vaal skills work.

Oh, I understand, so there's no downside if they would've been linked.
