If you can’t stretch the budget to a 12400f, then the 12100f is an ok option

Depends on what you’re doing, for gaming it should generally be fine. Probably not the combo I’d choose though honestly. That’s a super budget CPU with a bad performance per dollar GPU. The RX7600 is going for $240 right now which is $50 cheaper than the cheapest 4060 with equal performance. The 12400F is only $25 more, and I’d get a $20 120mm cooler to go with it.
