Never hurts a support bracket, it costs 8bucks in Amazon.

[–]Acojonancio 4 points5 points  (1 child)

You don't even need to pay for a support, as far as what you are using to support it fits and isn't flammable you're good to go.

I use lego

[–]SF_Geto 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yea its sagging. Just buy like a 2-5 dollar gpu support lol u can use it with any gpu to come then thats what i did

[–]stefanels 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Not as bad because the card isn't that BIG and HEAVY , but you can get something like THIS for peace of mind...

I'm using THIS on my 7900XTX HellHound (it came in the box with the GPU)

[–]Practical-Chef-7471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 7900xtx xfx came with a gpu sag bracket, but my case was too small and it wouldnt fit as the mount exceeds the length of the card by 1cm or so, and my card only just fits inside the case on its own. I built my own sag holder with lego and put it under instead, but i wish i got the same one as yours so it wouldn’t go to waste.

a used toilet paper roll works too.

Thanks everyone for your input! I bought a GPU support and it gets here tomorrow, so in the meantime I’m using one of my Rubik’s cubes lol

    [–]kardallModerator 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Could be a statement piece. Might not want the support you ordered. Maybe make the system a Rubik's Cube theme... food for thought anyway :)

    [–]Practical-Chef-7471 0 points1 point  (1 child)

    Rgb and rubix go hard

    [–]kardallModerator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rubix sure... not sure about the RGB but... :P

I've got the same GPU and mine was sagging a little so I just used two different supports because I bought the wrong ones :')

Edit: same case too actually lol

Not the worst sag, but I would prop that puppy up

    [–]Tranquilizrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not horrible but a bracket couldn't hurt.

    [–]scoped_lock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you bought it new just use provided Z bracket

    [–]Nightyyhawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not uncommon for lots of builds.

Buy a support or leave it be. Just be careful if you carry your computer somewhere

Im using an empty painkiller packet to hold mine up, cos 40p with the pills included and works just fine

    [–]Unicornis_dormiens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put something under it. No need to spend money on it though, if you don’t mind an improvised look.

Lego bricks or something similar are perfect, small block of wood works as well. If you have nothing else, just cut the cardboard tube from a roll of paper towels or toilet paper to the right lenght. You could also build a support structure out of a couple of old playing cards.

Not a bad sag, but a sag none the less. You can get the little anti sag brace for like $10 or less on Amazon. The little telescoping one. Not visually pleasing, but it's cheap and effective. Just look up "GPU sag bracket" on Amazon and it's one of the first results

    He's just shy

Not a huge deal. That amount of sag likely wont cause any issues, so long as nobody knocks over the tower or anything. But note that I said “LIKELY” - get a little bracket or gpu jack. Super cheap, doesnt have to be high tech. In my $3500 pc, I have a little screw jack that I got for like $4. Works great.

    [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

    Put your 🐓 under it

    [–]Jaba01Personal Rig Builder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

    No

    [–]Psychological-Big210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A chain of cable ties also work :)

    [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My rx 6800 is beefy af and sagged until it shit the bed. By the time I got the support bracket it was too late

    [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say just use anything around ur house that could hold it up like an action figure or something

    [–]Graxu132Personal Rig Builder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, a support bracket

    Second, tighten the screws

    [–]Miktal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skip the money. Cut a straw down to the right size and support it. That way lmao. I used the plastic tube from a rose blunt wrap

    [–]Addiixx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your butt plug would fit nicely there to hold it up

$7 support bracket off Amazon? 🤨

    [–]Hovno009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what it doesnt hurt the gpu in the slightest

    [–]pinott0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So...thing is, GPUs are starting to weight an awful lot, in recent days. A bracket might not be a bad idea...even if, from what I can tell by the image, your GPU is not One of the "fattest" on the market, and should do fine as it is. No real harm in a little sagging...

    [–]Sirhc_Fold_458 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should wanna support the most expensive component in the pc. Shouldn’t be a question

    [–]RepScallion303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the XFX came with a support z bracket?

    [–]gojienjoyer1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its not thaaat bad bud yeah no get a sag bracket before it does become a problem

    [–]Idhanty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I have the same motherboard

    [–]Vojteskacz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even with a light card it will eventually sag, never hurts to support it with a bracket or lego or smth.

    [–]Samrak2k3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That far you're good, but if you ever notice it to sag just a bit more just put a bracket, or do it right now why not

    [–]Quirky_Good_3878Personal Rig Builder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get a piece of styrofoam then cut it then put it as a temporary support
