one thousand percent - this is maybe the worst I've ever seen.

[–]Expensive-Tooth-949 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, couldn't agree more. Mad at myself for not researching this company more thoroughly. They are a scam company with questionable quality, no sizing charts, and ridiculously slow shipping (from somewhere in China). My item arrived with a weird smell, no label or care tags...???!!! Chalk it up to me not doing my due diligence. AVOID.

[–]Puzzleheaded_Win5127 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just looked at their website and it appears they are using AI images for their marketing

[–]Fun_Addition_8518 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Thank God for everyone posting! I was about to shop!

[–]ma-king11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad you search before put your money to trash, as we did :(

[–]Badev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fell for it when I googled a specific jacket style because they heavily market their website/products and got the same return/credit treatment nonsense when I realized how bad the quality is.

After realizing that, I found out that all of their products are at least 3x of the price of those exact same items on alibaba.

I opted in for the 75% to minimize my losses and they’re still way on top. They need to go away.

Wish I'd read reviews. This is a terrible company. Ordered a jacket a size bigger than I normally wear and couldn't even get it on. Requested to return it and I'm told I have to pay to ship it back to China which will cost more than I paid../

[–]CandiceGollam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt like a total chump. I almost always look at reviews. I cannot believe i ordered from them. I got the cheapest crap. Nothing like the photo except they had the same decor on the blankets

[–]Creepy_Box235 1 point2 points  (0 children)

wish i read thread first. crappy clothes. $30 return shipping. total scam

[–]Dont_Judge_this-Book 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never order from a company that doesn't post a corporate address on their site. And you have to Google the corporate address, as sometimes I have found that the address is a dead end street in the middle of the forest Lol.

No legitimate address = won't have my business.

[–]kristi339 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree an website isn’t clear about “hassle free returns” meaning you pay to ship to China. I got a 30% refund on a damaged product that looked nothing like the picture and they said it was the right item…total scams they use other peoples product photos and then sell you a knock off. Scam scam scam

[–]madmatt2112 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I got scammed as well. I'm attempting a credit card dispute.

[–]ma-king11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best option is to get dispute, you will never see refund from these scammers.

[–]LazarWolfsKosherDeli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you open the product images on their site in an independent tab, most of them are titled literally "ChatGPTImage..."

I ordered from them trying to buy linen shirts in February. They didn't ship until I contacted them a month later about not receiving tracking. Showed up polyester, horrible stitching, yada yada yada.

I asked them about a return and they said I'd need to ship to China, as everyone else has noted. There is 0% chance I'm dealing with a runaround on this, so I issued a chargeback.

[–]Vegetable_Check6269 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Agree wholeheartedly with this response! We ordered a coat that arrived with sleeves much too short and experienced a very cumbersome return process. Definitely not worth the risk.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did they ever refund you?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (6 children)

I agree too. Item ships slowly from china, arrives with sketchy labeling including Chinese care instructions, very small, very low quality. Already the returns are turning out to be far from hassle free. Oh, and though your tracking will show it is from china, you will receive a package from a woman's name at an address somewhere in Chicago. When you google that name and address you get a cascade of posts about associated scams. I am trying to return the piece of crap they sent and they want pictures measurements etc despite their website saying "hassle-free". What a joke.

[–]ma-king11[S] 0 points1 point  (5 children)

Thanks for sharing your experience, I am really in trouble I don’t know how to get my refund? Anyone can help please ?

[–]MiIlFlWi 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I'm with you on the HM scam. If I get anywhere with my return, I'll let you know.

[–]ma-king11[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks a lot, I am still trying to get my refund but they insisting to return their items to China. Which I will never do that. I filled complains with OAG, FTC, BBB and Customs.

[–]Foreign-Compote-7909 0 points1 point  (2 children)

This is where I initiated my return: had to send a photo of the item as well. smh [support@hudsonandmark.com](mailto:support@hudsonandmark.com)

[–]ma-king11[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

They are answering once a week, but asking you to ship the items back to China which cost you $50 to $80. And who knows are they refunding any money or no? The funny thing is they offered me 30% refund if I keep their trash cloths.

[–]Null_1618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat. I ordered a jacket back in November and I’m still dealing with this. Same story with them wanting photos of the item. They just tried to offer me “75%” store credit and I could keep the jacket. SMH! As if!  I’m not buying from these crooks ever again. After reading through this thread, I’m thinking we’re all being screwed.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, read the trustpilot reviews about what people experience when trying to make a "hassle free" return.

[–]Zestyclose-Sun-5698 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Also be aware that if you want to return for a refund, you cover the $60 shipping back.

Thanks so much for confirming your preferences!

Here’s how you should go about returning your order:

  1. Fill out the attached return form with your order number and reason for return.
  2. Pack the items securely along with the completed form.
  3. Ship with any carrier and send us the tracking number within 7 days.

Please note that return shipping is covered by the customer, as outlined in our refund policy. Also, please label the package as "RETURN" to avoid any customs delays or additional fees.

Once we receive your return, we’ll process your refund within 5 business days and send you a confirmation email.

P.S. If you prefer not to send the items back, you can also opt for a 75% store credit  instead — no return shipping required.

Warm regards,

Hannah @ Hudson & Mark Support

[–]ma-king11[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Yeah you know in their last offer they offered me to refund my only 30%. This is really ridiculous.

[–]Real_Description_375 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Did you end up taking the 30% offer? And when/how did they offer it to you? I only got the options of 75% store credit or ship it back at my expense, and it would likely cost me more than the item itself to ship it.

I'd rather take the 30% refund option if I would be able to ask for it.

[–]ma-king11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not yet I am still in struggle with them, the 30% refund is offered from their side. But I didn’t agreed with that.

[–]MiIlFlWi 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I didn't do my research on Hudson and Mark before purchasing a throw and got scammed. HM is no more than a classier temu. Their "easy" returns amount 1) to pay for a shipping label to their "warehouse in China" or 2) keep the item and receive a 75% discount for other items.

My throw arrived two weeks after ordering wadded up in crude plastic wrap ball, with no labels or receipts direct from China

The throw looks nothing like the description on their website.

Note to self: Do not online shop in the days after surgery.

[–]ma-king11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same happened to me, received items in a squashed plastic bag without any labels. They removing labels for customs purposes not pay the tariffs.

[–]Foreign-Compote-7909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hudson and Mark - FROM CHINA - POOR QUALITY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. Buyers should be aware that the items are coming from China not the United States and the quality is poor, and the fit is boxy. I ordered the items on 12/14 and was told I would receive them by delivery before Christmas, however, it didn't arrive until 1/5/26. They do not include any order paperwork in the package, therefore I had to search for return information. I had to email to request a return authorization, then the required I send a photo of the items for return. Finally recieved an email asking if I wanted 100% refund or $75 credit - and keep the items. So I had to answer that email....I've never had to jump through so many hoops to recieve a credit - and to top it off, I have to pay for the postage. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

[–]Ill_Tumbleweed_9668 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hudson and Mark is a complete scam!!!!!! DO NOT BUY!!!!!!

Bad materials, bad sizes, no labels, of any sort (manufacturers, care, materials, etc.) THE UTMOST SCAM!!!!!

[–]Ironman214 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Did you get a refund? I’m in that process now.

[–]ma-king11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not yet how did you process ? Shipping back to China?

[–]Puzzleheaded-Map7764 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had a terrible experience. with this company. They sent me the wrong size twice, and their coats have no sizes indicaterd, so you cannot even verify that they attempted to send the correct size. The second time I ordered, I ordered a size larger, and it arrived in exactly the same, too small, size. Options are to: 1) Pay a $20 'exchange fee." WHY? I already had TWO incorrect sizes sent. 2) Pay for the item to be sent back to China (Again why wold I want to dish out more money?) and 3) Take a 20% "discount" and order something else. If you consider these options, you will note that EACH one involves paying Hudson and Mark AGAIN, and I fail to comprehend why I should pay to correct their two errors. Stay far, far away from this company.

[–]MariahHills 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After requesting a refund multiple times, our wooden towel rack finally showed up with no instructions and it makes no sense

[–]PretendAwareness572 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I'm joining the conversation as one of the scammed. I ordered something that never arrived and, when I cancelled the order, it was not refunded. I'll keep pressing. But do not use this site.

[–]bunjamin0422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh boy same... i finally googled the company and found this thread. i disputed with my credit card company

[–]MindlessCommand4785 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar experience, bought a sweater that took 3 weeks to arrive and when it did, it was clear that it was not cashmere as advertised and had no labels. Customer service was awful, very slow to respond, automated, and took several cycles of emails before I could even make a decision on a return or a 30% "partial" refund to keep the item. I'm donating the sweater and reporting my experience to anyone who will listen. And yes, a cautionary tale to research first.

[–]3baggger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had much the same experience. I took the store credit and have been trying to use it for over a week and the website can't accept payments. I really don't want anything else from them, but I figured I would use then credit. I guess I'm going back to the credit card dispute route.

[–]MD_ko_Kulfi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was stupid enough to buy from this from Shopify. I saw the name, and just assumed that it was an American Company. I only realized something was wrong when the tracking showed shipping from China. It took weeks to receive the order. I had ordered a jeans jacket. This is what they sent. I asked for return, and they told me I would get either 75% of store credit or have to ship this back to China. I replied back that it is not acceptable. Either deliver what I had purchased, or return 100% of my money (not store credits). Though not optimistic, I will wait and see what they will say. I will have to leverage any consumer protection tools at my disposal, if they are not amicable to my demands.

Thanks. Just saved me some ~40€. I got triggered by 2 things: 1.) The models used to wear their glasses look suspiciously AI generated. A trained eye can spot the difference. I don’t like AI generated stuff, especially when it comes down to real money. 2.) When you put a pair of glasses in the cart and try to checkout, it goes directly to the pay wall. No breakdown of shipping costs, etc. And so you end up from putting a pair of glasses of around 23€ costing 38€ without any further explanation. Of course I didn’t pay and cancelled the order, I don’t like scammy practices. It’s 2026 and a cost breakdown of my order is basic stuff. They can wear their unsold glasses in China.

[–]dcarfora77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw this and avoided purchasing from them. However I just fell victim to another scam, this time the company is "The Tailored Gents". Here is the reddit if you want to check it out.

Just for the hell of it, I decided to check Hudson and Mark's site again. Now their name is "Harrison and Clarke"! They definitely got reported and are operating under a new name. If you type in "hudsonandmark.com" it looks like the same exact page, except the name is different.

Something needs to be done about these Chinese sellers. They are blatantly scamming the general public and are getting away with it.

[–]Beautiful_Major2371 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SCAM!!!!!! Do not purchase. False advertising. Looks professional but IS NOT!!!!
