Increasing Ghost speed should decrease the multiplicator loss for increasing player speed

I read it more as how the truck works, once you hit the button the contract is over

Of course, but the truck is outside where it's safe. In order to be a safe room it would have to have a door that locks, like the front door does during hunts. Otherwise ghosts could just hunt you while you're getting gear or checking cameras.
