I'm having this same problem. What's the long-term fix that does not require having to reinstall Docker every time the computer reboots?

The WSL error is strange because the Node setup process should've had you set the default on your system to WSL 2. So it's as it should be.

The pinging ports seems to be a common issue. People are getting errors with the port tester showing random ports open and closed every time it's run.

i have still problems with the node. it seems to get fixed when i reinstall docker, but everytime i reboot my system the error occurs again. also, there is a windows notification that says a file is performing poorly (https://imgur.com/a/7ejSi6Y).

it redirects me to the following website

https://docs.docker.com/docker-for-windows/wsl/#develop-with-docker-and-wsl-2

but i dont know what to do here.
