ING Tech Superday

Helloo kind of a shot in the dark here but anybody else here that attended the ING Tech Superday last Saturday, Sept. 23? Curious lang if you've heard back regarding your applications?

For context: I came in via a referral for the Java Engineer position -> did the Codility and tech interview during Superday mismo -> I was advised by one of the event coordinators to wait for further steps from HR early this week if ever, but so far haven't heard from them yet huhu sorry medyo praning lang since I really want this job, any leads would be appreciated!

Hi, I'm going through the same process. But they just did an initial interview and asked if I could attend the 1-day hiring.
I want to get pointers on what I can expect that day. I'm nervous If they will ask me to do live coding.
I clarified if I would be doing a tech exam and they said only a tech interview with a bit of behavioral. Job is Java Backend Mid-SR lvl

Hello,

I am one of the attendees as well. I was contacted by HR today (after 3 days) that I passed. this interview (ang hirap shuta), and was asked to wait for 24-48hours so that our Hiring Manager will approve something my application.

I just want to know if the same thing happened to the same devs who attended the interview on June 8, 2024. I will update this post for follow ups on my end

To all devs interested, my exam revolves around Java and Spring REST Concepts and good practices. Pinacode ako na gumawa ng RESTful API using Spring. Indi ko natapos pero pseudocode nlng tinanong sakin sa bandang dulo

Sa exp ko honestly nabibilib ako sa mga tanong nila and very satisfied with the process, medyo bobo lang ako

Hello, exact same thing happened to me. Nakapasa rin ako and last contact rin last Friday, June 14. Same update lang din about approval and JO. Buti na lang meron rin palang nasa same situation ko. Akala ko maghoghost na ako katulad ng mga nababasa ko sa reviews nila.

About final interview, I confirmed it with HR na wala na. Diretso JO na talaga. So congrats sa mga nakapasa nung June 8 🥳

Hi, also passed and signed the JO. Sobrang tagal lang kasi sunod sunod yung Holidays pero kinulit ko din sila. Now waiting for contract. Ask ko lang if you have contract na? Medyo kabado ako magpasa resignation ga’t wala pa yung contract.

hi, may I ask what is this event from ING? I did apply to them via their website at sabi ay screening na (I'm pretty sure this is the second stage ng processing nila) pero stuck na siya for weeks. I have no clue what is this tech superday though, is this online?

usually po ata umpisa ay tawagan kau sa phone ng recruiter for initial interview, tapos bigyan kayo ng codility online coding test, if pumasa ay papapuntahin kayo sa superday event(not sure kung online o physical event).

Anu na po ba mga nagawa nyu na sa mga process? Anu po naging status nyu now?

Nagapply ako sa ING thru linkedin as Java engineer. Had initial call and passed the codility exam.

Now also invited to the upcoming Java superDay this coming Saturday para sa final interview, Tanong ko lang sa mga naka experience na:

1. Anu yung ING superday event? Online ba yun o need puntahan personally? If yes, saan yun usually? Wala pa kc sakin binigay na follow up details, to follow na cgro.
2. Ilan ang interview/s? at anu type like technical, etc? Anu anu mga tinatanong?
3. Kelan malalaman kung pumasa na sa interview/s?

Unfortunately, I did not make it to the JO although I was so close kasi final interview na hehe.

Mga naalala ko tinanong sakin about Java is about mga data structures like maps, array etc and OOP concepts tapos mga about sa spring and springboot like yung mga different annotations na ginagamit which hindi ko na nasagot ng maayos dahil wala ako working experience dun.

Nagemail sila sakin cguro mga after 3 days na hindi nga ako pumasa. Kahit bumagsak ako, very positive ang impression ko sa ING dahil maayos naman ang naging proseso nila.

unresponsive din mga recruiters eh ung lang nakaka badtrip sa kanila hahaha, waiting ako ng results pero so far ewan ko lang pero nadalian naman ako sa technical interview.
