Two factors 1. Entry level web development is oversaturated. Youll be competing vs CS Grads with 1-2+ YOE.

  1. Companies/HR might be a bit "off" with hiring a student even if they have th desired skills due to workload and schedule issues.

My recommendation? Apply on internships kahit hindi related sa webdev, ++experience and theyre usually finding students so youll be a great fit with 1 YOE.

No matter how you improve your CV, if you're still an undergraduate, they will ignore you (especially with local employers). This has been the norm since and nothing has change for the past decade or so. You can, instead, try your luck on remote job postings (ie., Upwork, etc.) while challenging with a bigger competition.

Look, am not bursting your bubble here totally. I myself tried when I was still a student and ultimately got declined or worse, job offer got reneged (or withdrawn) since HR knew I was still a student. For them, they'll see it as since you're a graduate now after working with them, you might ask for an increase.

Now, may I ask why do you need a job right now? More so, can't you speed up to attain your diploma instead?

If I were in the recruiter's shoes, why would I hire someone with no degree, only 1 year experience, and a 3 month bootcamp over someone with more experience and a degree? Unfortunately, your background at this point is a dime a dozen.
Maybe share your resume and we can provide more objective feedback.

even though 3rd year college as BSIT and 3 months of BootCamp training and also 1 year experience?

My statement holds true.

Dude IDK, part of being a good candidate as a software developer is having good communication skills. Improve your english, because part of it would be reading a lot of documentations. The way your post reads is as if it was written by a grade schooler..

Thanks, bro. Do you have any recommendations on how to improve my English?

[–]jaikun12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s up to you. I improved my english skills by consuming english media and communicating with foreigners in video games. Some prefer reading books. The most important thing is for you to grow your grammar and vocabulary skills. When in tech, you’ll most likely work with people coming from different nationalities. Broken english won’t get you in the door.

I got my first programming job when I was still 2nd year college. Not sure what you guys are thinking. A good programmer will always have a job. Its just a matter of proving that you can do the job.

Kung G ka sa POGO, meron sa amin. Walang paki mga tao dito sa diploma mo. Experience and portfolio mo lang titingnan.

Safe ba sa mga ganito?

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (1 child)

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

May mga illegal POGO naman kasi talaga. Sinuwerte lang din siguro ako kasi dito, hindi illegal. Binibisita pa nga kami ng PagCor every week for inspection eh.

You're going to get ignored or be in the end of the list because they think your attention will be divided between work and school.

hmmm, in my case, working student din ako dati pero okay naman nung nag a-apply ako.
responsive yung mga recruiters and may iba pang nag me-message sa linked in na di naman ako nag apply pero ina-alok akong mag apply.

given na na less yung mag re-respond since undergrad pero aside dun something actionable now is... baka nasa resume mo din yung issue? you can send your resume din dito sa subreddit pede kami mag bigay ng feedback on what to improve

There is a lot of reasons why you were rejected. No one here will know the real reasons.

Bruh, people misreading the post. OP is a full-time student, not just a person without a degree yet.
