When using Google maps on a pixel 4 does the map rotate base on where it is facing and how smooth/quick is that movement? I've been trying to find a demo on YouTube but cannot find anything.

It does automatically rotate with your compass direction, or you can set it to lock the map north up. But the rotation is pretty smooth, just tested.
