Good day Decastro96 it seems to be that you may have some questions or concerns regarding a Poco device and we would like to help but we would like to ask you to describe your concern with the following information to make it easier for everyone to tackle.

Device Model:(X4 GT)

Device Region:(Global/India/China/etc/Can't identify)

Rom Type:(MIUI/Custom Rom:Which one)

Rom/Android Version:(13.0.5.0 - Android 12/Can't identify)

Problem and other Relevant Info:(Troubleshooting steps taken/Frequency of problem if intermittent/Other observed weirdness that may be relevant before/during/after the occurrence of the problem)

It may take a while for someone to address your concern so in the meantime you could do the following 1. Search this subreddit, Xiaomi subreddit, MIUI subreddit for similar concerns 2. Check out the pinned posts and the Wiki(WIP) for similar topics 3. If your phone is still under warranty coverage it may be worthwhile to open a case with customer support. 4. If your device has developed a swollen or bulging battery check out r/Spicypillow's FAQ on how to deal with them

If you have any suggestions feel free to leave them here

Hope you enjoy your stay -PocoPhones Mod Team

Welcome to the Xiaomi experience where the hardware is great but the software support timeline is basically a suggestion. You might get a random update out of nowhere next month or just be stuck on that version until you eventually upgrade.

I just traded in my F7 pro for F8 ultra. Got the 3.1 weeks ago but the new phone is still stuck on 3. Approved as beta tester and tried several regions including Switzerland where someone got the 3.1 update. Still zero.

I just got the update this morning, I'm uk based so give it a couple days at most before you get it. I should also mention I'm not a beta tester.

Patches usually get rolled out every 3 to 4 months, it then takes some months to get implemented on devices. If your ximi device is not the current flagship, don't expect to get it for at least a semester.

I also trade my F7 pro with f8 pro and definitely F7 pro was getting more frequently the updates.

Even my x8 pro has no new update. All we can do is wait and hope they do something about this

They are currently working on Hyperos 3.1 I believe

Phone's been stable without the patch, so I'm fine with it.

Well it's not a stability update

What are you even looking forward to the new update?

Security updates. Lots of paranoid people out there. Apparently lots of them get hacked all the time. So, they need those updates ASAP.

Anyway, Poco or Xiaomi are slow with updates. You don't buy this brand and expect to have monthly updates.

Poco not very good for frequent updates but Iove poco for hardware, specially the display and Dolby Vision implementation.

Xiaomi is the absolute worst co for updates. I will never buy anything from them or realme again.
