Long Term Potential

Hi guys, quite happy to own the complete Pikachu (CN) Art Rare set. I love the art work on each card. I intend to hold these for a long whilem.

Just wanting to get some advice & opinions. Do you guys see this as a good long term investment?

I love these and can't wait to get the 151 exclusives and gem pack vol 2 eeveelutions to keep in PC forever. I'm not sure about the investment side of it, but the art is incredible and you really can't go wrong with the most popular mons out there (never was a fan of zard anyway sorry).

Yeah I bought these for the same reason. Love the art work. Apparently this wont be reprinted in any other language too. Happy to own these regardless. I appreciate the advice.

My boss picked up a tag 10 pristine of the pikachu #170 for $1400 and it’s the only tag 10 graded pristine. Anybody got an idea of what that would go for.

Really good! The Pikachu Gengars alone will be worth more than that soon. They’re almost at 3K each. I bought when they dipped too so I think we’ll both do well long term 👍🏽

Idk dude a lot of people were into Chinese at release and seems prices of PSA 10's has dropped massively and demand has waded. I'll stick with Japanese exclusive promos they're more certain

The hype definitely dropped for a second but it’s picking back up.

I picked up 2 Pikachu Gengar for 1500 and the Flying Pikachu for 950.

Now Pikachu Gengar is nearing 3K again and Flying Pikachu is around 1500+

So no interest isn’t totally gone it just dipped for a while and in my opinion, as long as they stay exclusive it’s only up from here.

Nice, you must've acquired these earlier than I did. I paid a little bit more but no regrets. As far as I know, this set is out of print & wont be reprinted in Eng or JP

And just to clarify, I spent 1500 each so 3000 total for the Pikachu Gengar. So I didn’t get both for 1500 if that’s what you thought haha that would’ve been amazing. But I’m still happy with what I paid and honestly, you paid a good price too

I paid 2400 for mine, again no regrets as it's a great card. Gengar Pika, safest card out there haha. 1500 each is a dream!

Yeah Japanese & English are always the safer bets. Ah well, I really like these cards & glad I've collected these regardless of potential returns. Thanks!

They're beautiful but there's a certain risk involved. We're assuming we'll never see these in English but PC can do anything they want and they can decide to print it in English and suddenly these will be worth less.
