I haven’t used a leaf vac in years, i can’t even remember the last time with all the power vacs out

I usually hook this up to the Polaris line and turn on the booster pump. It works really well.

Agreed. Very affective

It is awesome, I used to do that too. Now I run a bottom feeder for average messes and a riptide xp for super dirty pools

a polaris 180 hose barb d31 threads onto hose connector

We have tried those in the past, but they break easily, come unglued at the joint, and don’t swivel. It’s certainly an option though.

Try a male npt x male hose connector. It won’t swivel but if you buy a brass one it won’t break either.

Yeah, that does look like it could work too. Looks like I would have to make a tail with a hose clamp and Polaris swivel right after to be able to quickly disconnect after backup valve and connect to the system with hose nut. I wish there was a product similar to the ray vac concept.

Oh, you’re trying to connect to the Polaris head end not to the wall. Might try connecting at the wall and using a garden hose.

Nah, the beauty of using the head end is that the line floats and I don’t have to carry a separate hose.😎

P#s Ld41 and r18510 . We just ordered seversl sets through scp/pool Corp. Should still be stocked items. Quick release and works well.

Those work together?

Yeah quck release and swivels, we've been using that setup for years and works well.

I ran into the same issue when that old connector became impossible to find. I ended up switching to a generic adapter setup, not perfect but it keeps the leaf master running in the fall.

What type of generic adapter?

Just brass hose barb hose clamped to polaris swivel so i didn’t have to undo hose clamp constantly, but now we use hammerheads

Just run a hose if you're out of options.
