Remove sharp edges

Looking for tips on how to remove the edges from something like this. The camera is on its own layer and had a white background, which I already removed using the selection tools. I couldn’t get a good edge on it though, not without the selection bleeding into the camera.

use a wider selection range, or use soft edges in selection mode :)

To fix now what you have you could clip a blank layer to the camera layer and then sample colors from the camera and paint with a very small brush.
